Hey,
i looked at your builds.
1. You dont need Blind-fight as ranger. they got the spell embrace the wild.

2. Small Races like Gnome cant use Shortbows or Longbows. They need Monkey Grip to use them i think (-2AB),
3. I wouldnt pick E.Prowess.

I thought they could use shortbows, but not longbows?
Thanks for the tip on Blind-Fight though! And on Epic Prowess. I figured +5% chance to hit wasn't a terrible use of a feat.
EDIT: Just tested. Shortbows, yes. Longbows, no. I don't think you can even use Longbows with feat expenditure on a halfling/gnome.

Thats good to hear.
I think you can pick additional FE on your cavestalker bonus feat . maybe pick that instead E.Prowess?
I also think the Dex bonus from Cavestalker stacks with enchantment DEX bonus from items/spells.

I think that settles it, then. The Cavestalker bonus feat isn't listed on there, so I can choose another favored enemy with that, I hope.
Epic Prowess... I don't have many good options to replace it. Improved Favored Enemy? Only affects one. +1 to a stat? My stats are already even.
The real decision, though, is "Ranger/Fighter/Cavestalker or Ranger/Cavestalker?"
Thinking of replacing Blind Fight with Iron Will for +2 Will either way. 22/21/22 for saves ain't bad.

One more question: should I drop DEX to 14 and CHA to 4 to pump STR to 14? My only concern is RPing a 4 CHA character sounds like RPing someone that barely, if ever, expresses themself - or someone with severe mental issues (incredibly low self-esteem).

You could also drop PowerCritical for Steadfeast D.
I would aim for an odd STR score, so you can use a +3 STR item. So, STR 13 is totally fine. maybe you get it with an epic feat?

Steadfast for me wouldn't increase my saves, just remove the chance of flubbing a 1. Does it still base my Will off Wisdom if I have higher WIS than CON?

It gives a more powerful animal companion. Buffed up animal companions are beasts of destruction.

I recall reading complaints years ago that it doesn't, so take this with a grain of salt.
Khazrak wrote:One more question: Would 4 levels of Fighter for Weapon Spec + Ranged Weapon Mastery be worth considering? It weakens the animal companion, but means you get +2 attack and +4 damage vs. all enemies.
Deep Gnome, multiclassing experience penalty, bad idea.

Addiction to potions of Eagle's Splendour.

Yeah, you will still use the higher stat. People like to get Steadfast to not die on a roll of 1.
