Seems like most everyone agrees, I'll do that for next update then and we'll see how it goes with the AI.

The Frost King has a high dmg cold attack, and casts Storm of Vengeance.

I like the idea, Tsid. +1.

Thanks for taking care of it, Valefort.

If it turns out it has important PvP consequences it will obviously be rolled back...

What's positive for you might someone's else negative though and at this rate it seems this suggestion needs further discussion anyway.

I am not particularly fond of blanket immunities.

That's why it's positive for me.

I'm sure a lot of people think differently.

Monsters cheating makes me less happy. But being i play an elemental mage it might make it safe for me to ditch missile storms.

This will Make Epic spell hell ball useful as it does all 5 elements of damage

not really as energy resistance will still tank it

but the idea is still there sure

hellball would need to be made to ignore resistance along with keeping its ignore to evasions, then hellball will be useful

I think it's a terrible idea.

It will make wizards unable to loot epic chests with 200+dmg unless they are lucky to have the right immunity.

Also, it's not a "blanket" immunity. You need to take FIVE lvl 7 spells. With my 34 intel Red Wizards, that left me with 2 spells of that level. Not to mention the stupid all dispelling chests you randomly stumble upon.

I'm all for it if archers cannot have more than 1 stack of 99 arrows in their inventory. I mean, they can switch between all sort of elemental damage in the same fight.

I am voting for single instance energy immunity! (I know it is already being implemented, but still)
To be honest, when I first found out that you can stack all the immunities together I thought it was some kind of exploit -_- It is not really how it should work at all.

JCVD made a good point.

Wizards barely have any slots left if they want to survive.

If they fight, they'll run out what little they have left over.

Why don't we implement stamina?

Areas can be re-adjusted I think.

It takes some effort, but each area can have a theme. Cold, fire, postive, negative... ETC. This means that the primary type of burst damage is the same for an entire area chain such as a dungeon. Ergo, a single Energy Immunity would shield against Cold based spell casters and traps in a cold themed dungeon. This doesn't mean there couldn't be splashes of other damage types, it would just come with a smaller bag of dices.

Anyhow... *Rubs my constitutition based fast healing sorcerer in your faces.*

This change isn't based on anything except crying from certain players. The Spell in the spell compendium explicitly allows the stacking of different immunities.

I'm all for changes, as long as it improves the gameplay. This does not. It's not the majority of players who wants this, just a handful on this tread.

I swear to god if this stupid change comes in, I'm out.
