Let's talk Shield Bash builds

Made use of free RCR to test a
10 Rogue/8 Fighter/5 Howling Drummer/7 WoD

I didnt have him at level 30 and felt he was just okay, not quite as much damage as I wanted for how much I invested in getting damage

I was a little surprised to see that theres some sort of "mystery damage" on Shield Slam and Charge. I was dealing easily 2.5x more dmg on a slam or charge than a "standard" shield bash.

It made me believe the claim of 100 dmg on a shield crit because I got 80 dmg on a crit from a shield slam. But a "standard" bash crit would be like 30 dmg.

Does bard or HWD courage apply to shield bash? It seems like it should but on this build I wasnt getting the magic damage on my shield.

However because this is sort of homebrew, I wondered if it was rolling damage elsewhere, including the courage dmg, and then displaying it as one aggregate figure in the combat log.
