For Instance the epic Long Sword in Doron Amar does 1d4 Magic Damage and it stacks with the Magic damage from Bard Inspire Courage. Thus the damage from Dragon Slayer should also stack, right? which would mean the potential for a Cavalier/Dragon Slayer to do 10 (DS levels) + 5 (Cavalier FE) + 1d6 (Sword) = 16-21 bonus damage vs. Dragons. I'll need to test it as I certainly believe you, but don't understand mechanically how the engine could stack certain types of magic damage and not others.

Does Favored Enemies/Bane of Enemies stack with damage from DragonSlayer PRC and/or the sword?

The damage from the weapon stacks with other magic damage for example bard inspiration or spells, the same way DS's does.

For example:
Bards magic damage + DS's Magic VS Dragons stacks
Bards magic damage + The weapon's Magic Damage VS dragons Stacks

However
DS's Magic damage VS Dragons and the weapons Magic damage vs dragons does not.

Magic damage should stack, however the engine treats the damage VS something in a different way

and I imagine it is hard coded/no way to fix? Sort of like how bonus slashing damage won't work on a slashing weapon?

What about damage from Bane of Enemies/Favored Enemies?

On the plus side, I suppose it opens up build options since Dragon Slayer doesn't offer much when damage doesn't stack with the sword...

R21/Harper Scout 5/F4 might be a decent CL30 Ranger option for Bane of Enemies.

Cavalier 21/Harper Scout 5/Anointed Knight 4 would be a strong pick as well for CL30 Paladin with 7 Favored Enemies.

C20/R6/T4 would be able to get 3 attacks from shield bash, but would have CL24 max so not a real option IMO.

Or I suppose you could just roll with FvS26/R4 or FvS26/P4 for Expose Weakness/Evasion or EDM....Nothing about that says any focus around slaying Dragons though. I think since the DS damage doesn't stack I'd prefer something that get's Favored Enemies for the mechanical association to the back story/RP of the build... That means either Ranger or Cavalier I guess. Doesn't have to be full levels in either though. Deathgrowls earlier build could be modified to R13/F12/HS5 for Camoflage and CL 22 or R17/FB5/F8 for outdoor HiPS and Power Attacking goodness at the loss of melee mastery/epic scpecialization. Could even go R13/F8/HS4/FB5...

Lots of options for ranger, though Paladin I think is less option heavy. Only thing that might be worth doing differently is dropping Anointed Knight for Monk to get evasion at the loss of Tower Shields and a few feats.

I'm not exactly an expect coder, but couldn't you theoretically run a script as you're equipping a weapon to make it suppress both the DS class damage and the weapon damage and instead add the sum of them as bonus damage?

I guess that may be a problem with a static +10 and a +1d6 though... Hm.

Favored Enemies, Bane of Enemies, don't both just add extra physical damage?

No idea, that's what I was asking!

If they do just add physical damage, would it make sense to do the same for DragonSlayer bonus damage? Or would DS damage then not stack with Bane of Enemies/FE bonuses?

Think I may go C21/HS5/AK4... Will have to play with the builder and see how difficult it is from a feats perspective...
