Alignments don't just describe your character.
Alignments describe and define the multiverse.

And they're metaphysical facts. The gods don't determine them, the gods are bound by them as much as anything else! Hail Pel- err, Lathander.

How I play a lawful Good character.

- If he (or she) is monk, then he follows the mandate of his deity. If he is faithless then he has a PERSONAL MADE UP CODE OF CONDUCT that he or she follows, in which he conducts himself in a certain manner.

- If he is paladin, then he follows the mandate of his deity as well as the code of chivalry. Cleric is played similarly bu not like a knight.

- If it is a non-paladin character, it's either a personal made up code of conduct like the monk OR...

- ...I separate the alignments and play them as literal. Lawful meaning he follows a law or a personal code of conduct AND Good meaning I do everything to benefit others. In other words, he will play similar to a Lawful Netural character (Holding the laws absolute) and Neutral Good character. (Doing good when the opportunity arises) My fighter orc Damon Oliphant was lawful good and follow Helm. He was not a crusader like a Paladin, but a man who does good under law.

My currently lawful good Cleric/templar similar to a paladin, minus the chivalry. (There is some, just not a whole lot)

Off-topic, but regarding what it means to be Faithless, I did a bit of research into it a while back. Thread can be found here. I'd welcome input, since I'm still not 100% sure I am right about my conclusions.

Thanks in part to this OP, I made my monk L/N. It also fits his RP more these days.

The in-game description of Lawful Neutral was also pretty convincing, and it was the last nudge I needed to make the switch.

Thanks, Darradarljod!

Anakin did nothing wrong. He did not deserve Hayden Christensen.

Stupidest thing said in the entire movie, ya. Given the Jedi are way more dogmatic (and never ever reformed their order, compared to the several which happend with the Sith oops). But that is SW nerdismo, so highly offtopic.

On topic: Morality is a bad name. Cosmical/metpysichal standing is more appropiate and does not have an IRL undertone.
