I strongly disagree. They should be one of the greater challenges on the server.

But anyway, the CR of beholders isn’t the point of the thread. We have mobs on the server that just dont initiate combat. Is this fixable?

though i do notice some monsters are not actively attacking somehow.

Also, what about those Naga in the Wyrm Cave that just don’t initiate combat???

Unless this JUST started within about the last week or two that is not the AI behaviour I observe.

The nagas all attack the heck out of me when I go in there and don't stand around waiting to die at all. Since some others are reporting weirdness maybe this is something new but as of 2 weeks ago and for weeks prior they were attacking quite nicely.

Been happening for years actually. Most will attack, but there is also the odd one normal naga that will never initiate until you provoke it.

Its a sporadic issue that I've seen in all areas of the server. Sometimes it happens, next time it doesn't.
To the point, where I was sure I saw rats cueing up, one at a time to get smashed.
Was wondering if it was a path finding issue in some areas.

And Hammer... everything stops stunned for your dwarves winning grins mate. Dead set stunner. That toothless grin brings all the mobs in the yard.
