"It would appear that the Words of Truth have prevailed in orientation of my offer, has it not, good merchant?"

Without a continued challenge to the Ring of Glory, it would seem Henryk can go ahead with claiming purchase, at the amount last directly offered by the competition...if not slightly more.

The wild man scratches his head. "Reverberations? I just wanted this shiny ring to make my axe swings more glorious. I would pay more than 50 bags for it if need be, but not at the price of breaking the laws of fairness. Your strange questions and words mystify me and raise my curiosity, Sir! What school is it that you follow? My name is Hurlon Yellowplume!

Treating you as a regular customer, I would simply say 60 bags now..."

Claret would stride through the throng of bidders jabbering over the other items.
Catching the eye of the fellow merchant, she'd bid him over her way, point to the pious looking belt [Girdle of Holy Might] and offer: 7,000 coins.

A Sun elf lady dressed in an exclusive looking dress steps up. At moments parts of the fabric seemed to reflect the light of the sun, and at other moments it rather seemed to absorb it. Some may recognize her as Moire, the business lady and owner of a large, local import and export business.

"Nothing is more unattractive than when people make something look like it's cheap." She raised her hand, and offered a smile to her fellow vendor. "I offer 50 bags for that girdle."

“Goodman Yellowplume, tis not a school in which I longer train, but a Church that I take in my heart and carry through the wilds such that I may reveal Truth from the darkness it doth hide within. The New Church of Tyr, the Even-handed, the Just God, Greater Faith of the Triad and, his followers, devoted to the cause of justice, to the righting of wrongs and the deliverance of just vengeance.

But upon the Sword Coast, our church is small, under populated and poor...thus your greater offering for the Ring if Glory wins the day, this day. May such an item of divine glory protect you well in your endeavors...and shall we meet again, we shall be as we are then, and not see this moment as a competition that has separated us in ill will.”

With another long-winded statement delivered as is his habit, Henryk offers Hurlon Yellowplume a courteous bow, and prepares to make his way from the table of exotic wares.

Moire glances at the newcomer and smiles briefly. "There are some people who can appreciate a fine piece of equipment." She raises her hand. "Eighty bags for the girdle."

Cackling and waving a dismissive hand, towards the other female interested party.
Oh come now, don't play with the poor man, you can see he's been working hard at the stall all day. Let's not waste his time shall we?
Turning her gaze towards the vendor of the stall, she batts her eyelids and offers with a smile.
How does 120,000 coins sound my good man. Just say the word and I'll have my business partner summoned right now with the money on a wagon. A king's random you would agree, no?

The wild man stands deeply impressed by the Tyr worshipper's chiselled verbosity. "That Tyr might have something to him. I wonder whether he could not grant its followers more glory through his blessings than any trinket could hold. But in any case I have never seen such quaint benevolence on the market square. I'll need to seek this fellow out and learn more one of these days..."

"Showing colors after all? That's a serious leap you take there between your first offer and this one." Moire turned to the vendor. "One hundred and fourty."

Moire didn't look displeased at the high bid, rather the opposite. "It's good to see someone knows and appreciates the true value of things. I resign from this ... The Laurel Crown however..." She shifted her attention to the other auction. "Someone already offered fourty bags? I double that."
