I certainly would take it in the suggested state on any melee build (or ranged, if poisons can be used on ranged), yes. Assuming I can make room for it. If I can't make room for it, then I'd either have to give something else up or resign not to take it.

And the more useful feats there are, the harder the choice between them becomes. Because each could be useful. Then I'd start having to try to pick the most useful for my specific situation.

That is good design. One shouldn't look at a feat and think "anyone who takes that doesn't know anything about this game". One should look at a feat and think "well, I can't take this for my current build but maybe it would be useful for another".

Thats the difficult part. There arent many builds, that will have space for such a feat. With a limited number of feat selection, some are redundant.

With that said, i agree that we should redesign "weak" feats, but only if we have a clear idea of how that can be used - either because the new version will worth to pick it in a build, or give it as a free feat to certain classes/PRCs that would make sense. Otherwise, spending time no make "useless" feat, a little more useless does not worth the time.
