Faaark, terrible news, sorry to hear. He was one of the most iconic players on the server and took the time to involve me in some exciting RP many years ago. Will be missed.

Eliphas will remain BG villian no. 1 in my heart. I tried my best to emulate his example with my Sharran but fell so, so far short. There will only be one Xanfyrst, and that's the one we all loved and now miss sorely.

I didn't have a chance to interact with Xanfyrst, but I've felt drawn to watching this thread evolve. It's clear Xanfyrst had a big impact on many core players here. My condolences to all of you experiencing such heartfelt loss, especially you Sierante.

It's inspiring to see the community come together like this. And I now feel compelled to seek out more tales about this infamous Eliphas.

This is incredibly sad to hear. Xanfyrst was always good to me during my time here and quite helpful when I was green as grass. I'll miss our villainous RP and treasure our many skype chats. Rest in peace, my friend.

We weren't close friends, regrettably. But to me he was always one of the most prominent members of the BG community. I admired his role-playing and story-telling skills, enjoyed our OOC talks, respected and valued his opinion.
I haven't played for years, and recently was considering a return. Was really looking forward to interacting with him both IC and OOC, so I noticed he wasn't around and hadn't been from summer. Assumed he quit or was taking a break from the server...

He will be remembered and missed.

Thank you, Sierante, for sharing this.

My condolences.

Once upon a time there were a hilarious leecher bard who dealt in piracy,
a treacherous blackhearted paladin who shock the north,
and so many other virtual facets of creativity to make merry.

TPB Xanfyrst will be missed indeed.

Holy... I am still in disbelief when I read this. Xan was one of the first people I called a friend on this server and he is largely one of the reasons I kept playing on this server. It seems like yesterday we were all giddy for Darkhold to be implemented and were running around Triel fighting off goodies.

I regret not keeping in touch over the years and always enjoyed him popping in to say hello.

You will be missed. Rest in Peace.

I had figured he had moved on or switched to an alt account or something. This is some sad news. Condolences to his family.

I was shocked when I saw this thread, and I still haven't found the proper words to say goodbye. Him and I have had our differences, haven't spoken in years due to it. It's sad how it sometimes takes a moment like this to regret things said and those left unsaid, realizing that it was all over a bloody video game.

I'll always remember my first days on the server, and those first years of roleplaying together. My sincere condolences to his family.

He was a fantastic story teller and RP'er. Sad news, especially for one so young. RIP Xanfyrst.
