A diplomatic envoy was attended by two members of House Vale, who joined several persons of other factions in entreating the Gate's interests on distant shores. Head of House Osric Vale and Commander Aiden Vega could be seen in the entourage being escorted from the Radiant Heart chapterhouse to the docks upon the River Chionthar. Upon their return, Osric would note a new respect for sailors, and a new sympathy for those who did not favor transportation by magic.

The Vale Estate was once more a flurry of activity as the House called its monthly all-hands meeting. Although a visitation by an elusive friend brought a small commotion to the assembly, the agenda was otherwise undisturbed. In the aftermath of the meeting, Osric's disappointment at having missed this friend might have been noted.

Happier news came soon after in the form of Valduil Feralen's elevation to the House Council, in the position of Master of the Watch. If asked for comment, Osric would point to Valduil's experience and dedicated service to the House, saying "Valduil has my full confidence in his new role. Our House Council is better for his presence, and we are better, knowing he shall be safeguarding us against those who seek to do us harm."

Members and staff of the house may have noticed a little re-organising and scrubbing of the infirmary; new herbs, vials of medicines, and healing kits have been added to the stock piles. Though rarely seen indoors it appears the new medic has been nesting a little.

In recent days, members and friends of House Vale may be seen coordinating with the dwarves of Kraak Helzak to assist in their defense against the approaching troll horde.

Word spreads that House Vale successfully reinforced a beleaguered front in the Troll Claws, aiding Flaming Fist and Radiant Heart soldiers to repel a troll horde incursion. Afterward, they successfully captured a troll and compelled it by means of magic to reveal significant battlefront intelligence.

*A letter would be sent to House Vale, noted for the attention of one Osric Vale. The woman delivering it, a red head short of stature and wide of hips, does not tarry, continuing along her way with many more letters within her satchel.*

Word spreads from House Vale that Rellon Ayloset has been removed from his station as Steward. The position now stands vacant.

Osric refuses to comment on the matter.

A courier comes by the Vale Estate carrying a parchment with the symbol of Mystra upon it. The courier informs whoever receives the parchment that it is for Sir Osric Vale's eyes only and if they would ensure it gets to him.

Word spreads that House Vale has elevated Dral Winterward to the position of Steward. Osric, still preoccupied by affairs in Neverwinter, could not be reached for comment though the missive that announced the promotion was said to have been heartfelt.

Dral was seen heading off to Kraak for a meeting. There he was met with greetings from the many hearty and proud dwarves of Kraak. A trade agreement was struck with Kraak through Oathsworn Bhor Stonecutter to provide what mushrooms from their farming operations they could spare.

Teris Yarno of Vale will be taking the shipments at the front door and taking them to the back of Vale and storing them in the cellar.

Those who keep eyes near the Palace District might note the return of Osric Vale to the city. His entry into the Vale estate was met with little fanfare though this was apparently by design. Whispers might follow that the man's efforts to save the Neverwinter chapter of House Vale from its own internal discord had come to naught and that his attendance at a pair of funerals preceded his arrival to the Gate.

Nevertheless, word would spread soon after that Osric seeks a reunion with all those who still hold House Vale in their hearts, to reacquaint himself with old friends and apprise himself of the latest events in the city.

Those who pay attention to such things might note that Osric Vale attended the latest Duchal Court, representing House Vale along with its steward, Dral Winterward. The advisor to the Grand Duke Liia Jannath used his time to preach the tenets of the Lady Siamorphe - that those who rule must do so with the benefit of their subjects in mind. Seeing the Chalice of Siamorphe present, he extended an open invitation for them to join him at the Vale Estate, where a small shrine to Siamorphe awaits.

Osric voiced strong support for the representatives of various polities and their counsel, most notably those of the Lord's Alliance, Doron Amar, and the Order of the Silver Rose - the throughline being that the Gate should sever its ties with the Zhentarim.

A young raven haired man can be seen moving a chest of belongings into the Vale estate guest rooms. Looking rather annoyed at having his belongings handled by the hired hands in a rough and tumble fashion, the man can be seen murmuring a few words and a iridescent hand appearing before picking up the belongings and moving them in with far more finesse.
