I understand your intent now! I found myself in a Similar position on several of my characters, where I wanted certain class skills but I didn't want the narrative/unwanted additional abilities (Evasion, Woodland Tracking, etc.) that my character wouldn't have.

I'd still like to Advocate with Skills Listed I posted on my proposal combined with the rest of your class. I think your proposal of limiting the Extra Feat list to certain Feats that Experts would get is a great idea.

For the UMD discussion, I always saw UMD as a Roguish/Warlock thing and not something regular people would ever do. It shouldn't be on this class.

This suggestion may be covered by the new Cosmopolitan feats coming soon.

Someone said it is in unearthed arcana, but Expert is one of the NPC classes in the core Dungeon Master's Guide, page 109.

No longer relevant, I know, but there it is!
