Thanks for all the feedback and build ideas! They look similar to what I have in mind as well. As for gear, I plan to optimize around the mithral Melodic Chain armor -- base AC 6, Dex 4, EB 3, Cha 3, hence no strong need for Battle Caster. (Free Dash feat too! I wonder if it makes Flee the Scene slightly faster...)

So Ability Focus Invocations is not useful after all, which is a question I raised in the OP, since I see none of the suggested builds have it. The wiki says it doesn't work on blasts, but the in-game feat description strangely doesn't mention that. Anyway, good to confirm that bonus DCs from epic caster levels apply.

I didn't know Spellcasting Prodigy apply to warlock DCs. Was thinking of Luck of Heroes instead, but we'll see.

Didn't quite get what was meant by "doubling charisma" mentioned a couple of times, but the overall builds suggested look similar to mine so I'll just take it that you guys meant to double down on the charisma.

Fully appreciate the benefits of other locks, like a hipster-lock which is what I have currently. But let's just say I grew tired of hiding.

Just to explain doubling charisma to DC .

Means you can get charisma to saves from dark one's own luck and 3 levels of blackguard , essentially getting 2x charisma bonus to saves .

It's a very good thing to use blackguard 3 with warlock 27. Most of people call them the generalist blacklock. They also use their amazingly high charisma for extra AC with Divine Shield

I meant double charisma to saves yes.

And Blackguard gets an aura that -2 off the saves of all enemies, so their equivalent DC while in melee is +2. I prefer cleric over BG usually for the domain goodies and not needing to waste a feat on cleave, but yeah 26warlock/4BG is the OG charisma warlock build.
