I think perhaps a good str rogue build would be something like SD/Rogue/TA/WD, maybe?

Sounds interesting. I like having the open lock and disable device skills because it makes me feel slightly more useful in a party and adds little RP opportunities. Usually, my old buddies did the heavy lifting when it came to PvE.

I tried this build on the JEGS module going 16 rogue / 5 thief acrobat / 3 shadowdancer / 6 whirling dervish

I spent all epic feats on STR + epic prowess and expose weakness, the build ends up with around 40 hide and MS (Without any gear or buffs) , 30 str (with a +3 item) , hide in plain sight and a rather low damage.
The biggest problem of the build is very low AC and lower damage, relying on HIPS, blinding strike and springboard to trigger sneak attacks on your own, but this build would not be able to hold it's own vs any epic content unless in a group. Maybe someone else can come up with a better idea than me since I am not the best at power building.
