Hands down the staff has improved BG a lot, and I started back in 09 . I myself really dont like complaining much about anything because often times complaints causes change. And although there is a lot of improvements to BG, theres also changes that are disappointing.
When I do voice out an opinion on a change, I do so because I really feel it wasnt needed. But thats just me. I aint speaking for the others. To each their own. The days of transition crash are long gone, those were the most frustrating thing back in the days. A lot of the new areas and mechanics are very very cool and the server is by far a lot more stable. Farmlands beautiful much cred to that. Scripting is very much appreciated. This is an old game and there is plenty of little bugs and what not that cant be helped at times. But over all yes the staff has done wonders and greatness.
One thing I do want to slip in is, perhaps more polls before hand when it comes to some impactful non lore related changes yes? I not sure of others but there are times well,... a lot of times changes seem to be leaning in favor in one direction or only a handful of classes or factions, weapons etc. BG always stresses about balance but its not feeling like it anymore. Some folks dont like having to rcr to make adjustments, some do, some like heavy looting, some rather find other means. I hope we can simply not forget to think about the other people or the people who has yet to come over. The community has their pocket groups of wholesome folks. I know I seen it, been around it. But the atmosphere else where dont feel the same. I tried bringing others from other servers to BG given I consider BG the best still, often times they dont stay long because of the community. A decade ago, the mindset was regardless of peoples RP of good or bad aligns, the primary was to make people enjoy their stay and make them want more, and be immersed into the world of this server.
Again tho thumbs up for the harder workers. Few of us from the beginning do know the amount of work that was put in.
