Re: Paladin Detect Evil

Players react most strongly to other PC interactions.
There exists a mine near Nashkel (one with minotaurs) that has locked people behind impossible to open doors. When i used to go there it always iritated me how as a Paladin I'd fall for leaving captured people there yet I've learned I"m expected to treat it as decoration. So I did apply same logic in Sshamath to a degree. Cuddly PC all around, honest merchants, well applied laws prohibiting unprovoked hostilities? Must be LN city. Slaves? Maybe a same type of decoration that I'm expected to ignore and go on?
Is it also "obvious" in that mine? It's literally out there NPC in cages begging and crying with scripted dialogue! All behind metal bars door that has plot armor built in. That thing taught me as a player to ignore such "decorations" cause apparently it's not something I'm expected to do anything about IC. It's what I've been told by several veteran players so I feel maybe treated a bit unfairly when I apply same logic elsewhere.
Hundreds of players must've completely ignore the people in cages when doing xp-runs there! Now I fully expect staff to check who's been running past the cages in last couple months and apply evil alignment points. Waiting for others to join in with the pitchfork crowd shouting how obvious it is...
(Kidding but I really hope it shows my point!)
