Aloria begins each day, very early in the morning just before the sun comes out, in prayer. She prays for some time, until the sun peeks through the forest.

However, this day is different. She spends most of the day in prayer. She is praying for Feleron, Vanira, Michael Dunn, Naer'eanque, Sol, Anaarra, Elyl, the Mizzrym sisters, Catam, Alsiaris, Elthrithmithrade, Aleilsum, Alarice, Fircare, Toshiro, Balh'hal, Orlpar, herself, Dajala, Wythran, Elohir, Doron Amar, En Darashae, in particular the elves of the nearby towns, and even for Faerynn, Galen, Vornerin, and Rhysdan.

Meditating on her time with Naer'eanque the day before in the forest of sharps teeth, near Doron Amar, by the sacred tree, she remember her conversation with the druidess. Nae'eanque spoke on how the tree was precious to Silvanus, Eldath, and Rillifane. She spoke on how many guarded the tree, including herself. Aloria said she would protect the tree as well. The moment was a beginning of trust for druids, or at least for Naer'eangue. Having scouted and spied on Naer'eanque the day before with her friends by the Chorianthor river, she saw what seemed to be a peaceful gathering of nature dwellers.

Aloria realizes that Naer'eanque seeks peace and solace, and that is her great power and influence. After all this time Aloria has met one who is like her, but perhaps much closer to nature, with a strong connection to this sacred tree. This is realized and in a subtle way, this elven druid is changing Aloria, and strengthening her foundations.

As Aloria sits and watches Naer'eanque basque in the light of the tree, she thinks about the day previous when she spied her in the forests near the Chorianthor river. Orlpar had caught her scent and Aloria tracked her there. She was with friends enjoying some type of solemn event. Aloria watched for a time until Orlpar came running towards her and she had to leave quickly as she did not want to disrupt the gathering of friends.

Aloria and Faewyn discuss the past and the duality of light and darkness at a table within the courtyard of the Friendly Arm Inn

Faewyn invites Aloria to share her escape from the underdark. They talk in general terms about it as well as the philisophical meaning of light and darkness, and goodness and evil, until Faewyn invites Aloria to meet her guild leader Yuri.

Meeting Yuri for the second time, with Nathaniel sitting by a fire, not suprising the two close together, I am informed of the dangers of the Black sun. Faewyn advised me on the Time of Troubles, which I had missed for the most part during my imprisonment in the Underdark. Apparently a mortal named Cyric had killed and taken the power of three dark Gods, and was a dark hearted soul before he did this. We thought to speak on it some more, but decided it was best to do it in private in the future, when prying eyes and ears could not hear. Yuri thought to speak openly about it courted death, and to be honest I could sense the danger and excitement, of talking about this Cyric. This was something worth investigating in the future.

When Thyrion approaches he changes the subject, thankfully, to him wanting to take us on a trip to a dark place in the Cloakwood that has powerful constructs. On the way there we pass by the Shadow Druid forests, where I slew Rhysdan and his Balor defenders, so many years ago. Dark memories for a dark place. Yet, Aloria does not take for granted how easy it is to make friends back on the surface, and how impossible it was in the underark, where hate, envy, pride, suspicion, loneliness, and paranoia ruled supreme.

Aloria has a fitful night of sleep in Doron Amar. Various replays of her past, of violence, of fallen friends, of death. She awakens with a start, her hand reaching out for something, the last voice she hears as she awakens is that of the male human Justin Crownsillver who says to her, just as he did years ago, "you will regret crossing me in the end, you'll see."

Placing her lit candle before her she lets the voice burn, until she only hears the crashing waters of the falls of Doron Amar, then closes her eyes and tries to fall back asleep.

Aloria sighs as she remembers that it was Elrithmithrade that killed Sir Justin with her greataxe during a confrontation between Justin and Beren. She was not there during the altercation. Who provoked who she does not know. Sighing again, she blows out the candle and releases the painful memory and goes back to sleep.
