There a few stragglers that have gotten together. I am unsure if they have really worked much together.

Well its not like an official guild would thrive in the Underdark, but there are other secretive guilds on the server. So similiar concepts might have been established already, simply curious.

House Mori'hyanda should be back in business shortly, for those Lolthites out there. I offer my apologies for the extended hiatus.

As a sniv...snifib.... *clears throat* as a deep gnome, which of the guilds would be open to me as classically my people are enemies of the Drow, going by the descriptions I'm assuming only the Bregan D'aerthe correct? unless i started a followers of Caladuran Smoothhands guild or "stumbled" across a lesser spoken of cult of/guild.

Not so much being in an anti-drow guild but the Bregan seemed to be more welcoming of other races.

Your typical drow shouldn't be welcoming of any other race, so your character should always expect to be looked down on in the Underdark. That being said, whether other races were allowed into Bregan would probably be determined by the current leader of the guild and how lenient they wanted to be... I'm pretty certain a duergar belonged to it in the past, but I wasn't around at the time. So someone else will have to confirm/decry that statement ;) Unfortunately, Bregan's not around at the moment anyway though.

Oh I know I dont expect the Drow to be to kind to us small yet superior races hehe :) but then I also expect people to mix it up a bit aswell and not always play the exact/common/accepted form of a race. I'll keep exploring the UD and see if any guilds take a shine to me.

There have been at least 4 duerger in Bregan D'aerthe in about 2 years, that I know of. Not sure with current rulership/leader.

I understand the concern towards the eugenistic nature of most of the current UD guilds, but take a look at some of those presented in the free UD web enhancement ( http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20031004a , or just roll a drow, already :-P )

They seem to offer plenty of room to non-drow and other odd-balls and be vague enough to let everybody find a place within them.
The duergar Xornbane mercenaries, presented in the wotsq novels, are interesting too and nobody seems to have wanted to make a Duergar guild based in the Shieldbreakers' clanhold, the Darkfire Pillars (mistakenly called Darkspires on the server), which has meeting tables and all.

Duneth actually has a cover identity as a Underdark Guide, to covertly gather information (and to give him an IG excuse for helping noobz get those damn eggs and cutlery).

The currently active Grumbarites can easely be a cell within any of the aforementioned organisations, if they wish to be part of something larger but retain their autonomy.

Hope it could help.

UD wasn't the same without the Mori Mob running around the place. Was worried you'd all killed eachother.

How can I sign to be in the School of Necromancy guild?

I remember a topic about something of Necromancy school, but can't find it.
