Sometime just after dawn, a crimson-haired woman of distinguishing height and physique along with a gur ranger and his faithful hound, left the gate of Soubar leading up the Northern Coastway, rumor has it with a specific quarry in mind—the den of the wolves that plague that stretch of the Tradeway.

Word has it that a well groomed man wearing ornate armor covered in a finely tailored surcoat has been paying new adventurers that find their way to Soubar a very handsome sum of coin in exchange for venturing down to the ruins below the Winding Way and cleaning out any vermin they find. Those that have accepted his offer have also claimed to have been given powerful boons and wards in order to aid in their vermin hunt.

A halfelven woman, with a wolf of considerable more pleasent demeanor than the ones prowling the outskirts of the camp, trailing at her side enters the camp.
She asks one of the guards at the red tent, if word could be passed on to Amelia Blackrose, that Fenia, Ranger of Mystra seeks a meeting at the earliest opertune moment.

She will remain in the arear around Soubar, keeping the roads clear of wolves, should they cross her and her fourlegged companions path.

A familiar dark armored man would make his way through Soubar into the Winding Way Tavern. Those who recognize him would notice he is a bit more bloody and bruised then normal. Once inside he claimed of killing an infamous halfling by the name of Batibat.

After getting some criticism from locals at the bar he pulled out a sack with a bloody wrapped egg shaped head. He would then address those around with a smirk "If any of you see a member of House Blackrose, tell em I got present." He would chuckle then buy the bar a round of drinks.

A streak of grey and moss green caused some small disturbance within the esteemed establishment of Mags. As a woman in thick form fitting leathers bolted through the taproom seemingly fleeing from something or someone within the deeper reaches of the not so ruined temple of Bane below. A faint acrid tang of chemical fire clung to the air behind the figure broken by onrush of fresh afternoon air when the grey streak made it's way out the taproom door. Witnesses might claim they saw her exit the tent sprawl towards the North while others might claim South one thing is for sure she was in a hurry to not be there.

Deep within the dreaded halls of the Black Abbey, a gathering of faithful took place. It is not certain how many attended, but one thing is clear, this was not a social gathering. Hulking brutes of Zhentarim elites were stationed at the entries as none other than Lord Imperceptor Vyshasa graced the unholy halls with his presence. Tension filled the halls as loyalties were tested, bonds broken, and alliances forged. Within the tavern above, drunken rumors start to float, some claiming they heard fighting, some claiming it was some form of dark ritual, and yet others joked the guards were so no one would see the "mighty banites" being janitors cleaning rat poop. One thing they all agreed on however was the clear echoing of various chants praising their dark god.

Word is left with the barkeep at the Winding Way Tavern, a mage that goes by 'Ashcroft' was looking for Mathias, in response to a trade ad posted in Bauldr's Gate

12th of Sarsakh 1356 DR

A trio consisting of a red-headed man in a hospital gown, a bearded man in a dark-grey robe, and a tiefling woman in a blue robe, was seen entering the town of Soubar in the middle of the afternoon. They mostly talked amongst themselves as they headed to the small lake near the southern wall. While they did spend some time conversing with two others here, they mostly kept to themselves.

Residents and visitor was soon enough treated to a display of magic near the lake, as the bearded man both conjured planar beings, and shapeshifted into several demonic forms. Following each such display was a conversation between the man-mage and the red-headed man in the hospital gown. The trio left again about an hour later, disappearing in a flash of magical energies.

Rumor has it a lynch mob came upon Soubar heavily warded with weapons drawn screaming for some sort of necromancer to surrender herself to local authorities. The main topic at hand was she was to blame for the troll attacks in the north... by southern authorities no less...

Rumors would have that a few days ago a large group of "Blackrose" forces could be seen gathered outside "Soubar's" eastern gate. Most would remain outside as their "Matriarch" and many ranked officers would enter the tent town heading for "Mag's Tavern."


Patrons in the tavern would divulge overhearing talks of building, security and the war raging in the "Troll Claws" as "Mag the tavern owner" and "leader of Soubar","Amelia Blackrose Matriarch" of "House Blackrose", "Vaelen" the "Warden of House Blackrose" and a "Prominent merchant of Soubar" along with a Dwarf called "Babryn Glori" an "Architect from Kraak helzak" talked.


Later on that day the "Blackrose Militia" under the command of a "Corporal Daniel" would move into "Soubar" setting up camp.

Since moving in they could be seen helping around "Soubar" along with Sparring and training under the guiding hand of "Ser Chersk, House Blackrose Sergeant at arms"

Notices would go up all around the North.
