A hired messenger wanders from the orphanage in the farmlands to the Temple of Torm and back again, looking for any members of Order of the Radiant Heart. He delivers a sealed letter to the first he finds, with instructions to pass it on to the Prelates, before promptly disapearing down the streets to his next destination.

The letter arrives to the Prelates of the Order of the Radiant Heart. Lance Renslin first views it before he passes the letter to Thiago.

The moon elf arrives quietly at the temple; her soft blue dress gently hugs her body and her hair down with tiny braids scattered throughout. The letter in had carries the seal of Doron Amar on it and she hands it to the first knight she sees upon arrival and inclines her head respectfully. Blue eyes look directly into the eyes of those she hands the letter to as she speaks.

"This is for the Prelates to open; they will fill you in on the details within. Thank you and may the sun always shine on your road. "

And with that she bows her head and turns to head back out the temple doors. Her feet carrying her quickly back to Doron Amar.

Lance can be seen making his way towards Doron Amar rather frequently. With him he usually carries a heavy pack over his shoulder. Those able to sneak a peek would find it to contain bandages, potions, and other supplies to aid the Ironfaars and Slayers in their predicament. He encourages all members of the Order to also lend their aid to the dwarves when able.

One of the two Prelates of the Order of the Radiant Heart chapter of Baldur's Gate, Lance Renslin, and Squire Taron Lane are seen entering into the heavily fortified Duchal Palace. With them can be seen many other representatives, those being of Candlekeep, Doron Amar, and the dwarves. A few hours later they leave with a grim look on their faces, conversing lightly with those around them. Lance can be seen looking a little displeased as he eyes Aearion with the group exiting.

Lance makes his way around the temple, speaking to those within of specific details. Several crates are delivered to the door of the temple, which are then promptly taken inside and stored. The crates look to be packed full and those delivering them also bare the marks of the Order of the Radiant Heart upon their cloaks.

More crates can be seen gathering at the temple before they are taken within and stored. These crates jingle lightly, much like potions would when carried.

The Order seems to be preparing itself for the war and is gathering their supplies.

Vanira's feet carry her quickly through the streets of the Gate and straight into the temple... looking lost, scared, and the verge of tears. The flood of emotions burst forth as soon as she runs to Lance wrapping her arms around him... as if she had been waiting to find a safe place to cry...

"How could they... how could they..." Her voice is shaky and pained as if this is truly one of the greatest betrayals her friends could have ever done to her. The pain and loss hitting her all over again. Her feet remain guiltily silent.

Alexander Marshall sat just beyond the front hall of the temple, preforming his usual maintainance checks and repairs for his weapon and armor as Councillor Talamora burst past. He'd jumped straight to his feet as she entered, smiling. "Councillor Talamora! Always great to se--" He stopped dead in his sentence, looking at the scene with confused, worried eyes. He slowly sat back down and returned to his task, his mind heavier with worry.

Dear Order of the Radiant Heart,

I doubt many in this order would remember me. I am John Roland, Former Radiant Heart member. I was suspended by Siger and Sir Rokrannon for a disagreement about our "fine" law enforcement. I have been curious if anyone in your order has any word from my mentor, Veretius, and to let Thiago know my exilement was not a failure on his part. And that he is still a father to me.

Sincerely,
John Roland

As the new Chapterhouse of the Radiant Heart Order is complete the movement has become quite intense in the farmlands knights, squires and priests come in and out. Strong gates open to grant passage for those who can identify themselves and they are promptly closed by well trained guards. The orphans are now very well protected by the sturdy walls that surround the house.

While the attack to Beregost is eminent the Omust split the tasks to get their duties covered. Thiago, the elder paladin in the order stays in the base protecting the city of Baldur´s Gate from any creature that may escapes from the Fields of the Dead. His son, Thiago II and Priest Juez Calvo walks in direction of the upcoming battle with the mission to protect the innocent and heal the wounded.

Image highly decorated letter arrives at the Radiant Heart's chapterhouse. It is layed in with a gilded motif, resembling cogs and gears. The envelope holding the letter is secured by a red wax-seal, sporting the symbol of Gond

"Prelates of the Most Radiant Heart, I pray we find you well at the opening of this letter. The clergy of the Most Holy Temple and Crafthouse of Gond seeks to reach out and better relations with your most Holy and Lawful Chapter.
Abiding the great laws laid before us by the wisdom of the Dukes of Baldur's gate, the Temple of Gond respects and honours your Order. Both having strong foundations in the law of the land, we seek to offer the services of our Church's guard to the Order of the Radiant Heart, should you ever have need of them. All that Gond expects in return is your allegiance and a small monetary donation.

Innovatively,
Keeper of the Anvil, Artificer of Gond's Church"

The answer returns in letter handwritten with some haste, yet well made. The parchment of paper shows also a good quality, something uncommon and absolutely not ordinary. There is no envelope, the letter is folded and a wax seal containing a heart secures its contents.

“Kepper of the Anvil

The Order of the Radiant Heart will always those seeking to improve their relations and with man of faith. Your respect towards our Order shall bring to all of us goodwill and progress. Know that we will always strive to uphold law and order and those considered lawful under the wise dukes’ eyes, and good under the gaze of Helm, the judgment of Tyr, the truth of Torm and the merci of Ilmater will always with count on the protection of our Order.

May the innovations and the creativity of Gond bring us mutual growing.

And may Helm watch over you.

Thiago

Prelate of the Radiant Heart Order.”

In the dead of night, within the farmlands outside of Baldur's Gate's east gate, a man materializes from thin air followed by a slight splash. He appears to be tall and broad, though details are somewhat difficult to make out from beneath a voluminous, dark gray traveling cloak. Under the light of Selûne, the faintest hint of silvery white hair and beard can be made out from beneath his hood. In the darkness the glowing irises of his lavender eyes are the fellow's most distinguishing trait. These faintly illuminated orbs survey the man's surroundings before turning downward. . .and note the pig sty he has been teleported directly into.

"I hate you, Elkor," he mutters before heaving a heavy sigh. Sloshing through the mud, slop, and other undesirables of the pigs' home, the lone traveler begins to head in the direction of Mercy Orphanage, tucked safely within the walls of a small fortress. Once he hits dry land, a once-familiar 'clank, clank, clank' of plated boots alert anything awake nearby (and possibly for miles in any direction thanks to his stomping) to the man's presence.

When his rather intense gaze falls upon the walls of Baldur's Gate itself, he reaches up and pulls the cloak away from a large baldric hanging from his back. Sheathed in the baldric is an enormous, though surprisingly simple, greatsword. The man's right hand touches the hilt for a moment before dropping to his side. Something silver and amethyst on his hand flashes in the moonlight before he tucks the hand back beneath the large cloak.
