*Puts up one of his own* They stood and watched a drow bard perform. All...of...them... Not once did any of them lift a finger to "kill the drow." If people of the gate are guilty of something like that then so are they.

Sincerely Yours

Asgar son of Svavar.

A rather short and wiry looking man, wearing a grey silken outfit, pauses to fix a profoundly dull stare at the assortment of scribblings, his slouching form heaving once after having scanned them all...

"Feh.... real subtle. S' kinda like watchin' a bunch of half-wits with no arms havin' a competition t' see who can put out a pile of flaming cow pie first. With their faces.

Just makin' stuff up, weren't even no dumb-arse drow up on stage. Pikin' stupid."

... the man mumbles to himself before wandering off down the street.

It is rumored that Bregan D'aerthe was incensed by the audacity of these false allegations. It is also said that the mercenary company tracked down the author of the notice and subsequently had them killed.

Rumor has it that the recent tournament announcer, Fenix, has reunited with his long lost secret bastard. He seemed to be *EXTREMELY* happy about it.

This rumor quelled as quickly as it starts, by mere mention of the source of the initial rumor, a deranged elf who believes himself to be the son.

Rumours of impropriety aside, quelled or otherwise, a number of notices go up made of the lowest quality that might suffice declaring the whole shield event a success. It declares

Citizens at this time of the gathering of the great and mighty to without thought of personal safety or any general common sense bash once allies with spell and sword King's Tear Emporium thanks all those who attended to offer their wit and skill on the day and invites any who were unable because of general business and gossiping did not find time to purchase from the finest stock of wands, corn snacks and gems to consider doing so in the days and weeks ahead, particularly those who did not win and are in need of aid.

The Grand Knight is seen leaving the city and making for the Radiant Heart Keep. On his way he seems uncommonly tense, uncomfortable, and even a little agitated. When he exits the Keep shortly after he seems to be his normal cheerful self.

In early morning hours is House Vale's steward, Rellon Ayloset, seen exiting their estate with many of his personal possessions in tow. Rumor speaks of his no more being steward and the property no longer as his home.

A short, unarmed, shirtless and hairy man has taken to roaming the streets at night. Any inquiries would be answered by a few sniffs and a gruff answer, followed by a warning: "Looking for wolves. Watch the rooftops."

Whispers of late among the Blushing Mermaid patrons tell of a man who carries the stench of the sewers and has been seen entering and leaving through the basement. Patrons in the know have heard only snippets of conversation from the basement latrines—references to far off Thesk, a low-murmured thanks to Mask, and the name "Varga." What business he has down there or why he returns is merely conjecture, though some say he occasionally leaves his shadow behind to watch the basement door when he leaves. Others claim that's nothing but the babbling of drunken fools too sloshed to see correctly. Whatever his motives, they are certainly questionable.
