As of late, the same seer has become distracted, sometimes turning down clients due to vague excuses of “disturbances” and “wanderers”. More than once a local has found the woman lost somewhere in the city; it’s unclear if her eyesight has finally gone entirely, if she is touched in the head, or if there is truly a concerning disturbance in the realm of the spirits.

At the Eastern Farmlands campfire, the self-proclaimed grandson of a storm deity, would find himself pressured by an ashen haired woman, bearing the sigil of the Frost Maiden, to conduct a demonstration at her behest. The man who boosted of his ability to summon wind and blow away his foes peeked the ashen haired woman’s interest prompting her to request a demonstration of his ability using a Halfling, also in attendance, as a test subject. After some negotiation and a hefty exchange of coin the Halfling agreed to serve as the test subject. The demonstration commenced and the Halfling managed to stand his ground against the gust the wind but some poor sod who unwittingly meandered into the demonstration zone suddenly found himself on his back. The ashen haired woman was nonetheless quite satisfied with the entertainment she so desperately sought.

A finely dressed ashen-haired woman could be seen entering Baldur's Gate sewers on multiple occasions. She calls herself Janette Skein, the "sewer maintenance worker", and indeed, she is seen checking the equipment everyday, dutifully and thoroughly! She keeps ooze away from the pipes in mornings and then makes acquaintances with local fine people in evenings... one could wonder who is that person and what are her ends...

Janette Skein spent the whole night in the Shelf of Many Books, working on a certain project. By the sunrise, the exhausted, but satisfied woman left the building with a backpack stashed with accurately scrolled newspapers ready for distribution!

A certain ranger with long brunette hair was seen entering a mercantile in Baldur's Gate and purchasing a large amount of yarn. She left the store with a warm smile on her face and a very large bundle in her arms.

A shirtless, burly man was seen bringing a sizable bag to the temple of Ilmater. He left the walls of the church soon after entering, empty handed, and returned to his camp on the outskirts of the northern farms, where he could be seen munching on roasted giant beetle legs.

*It may have been seen that a man known as Sel is filing a report to the Fist, about a strange woman who claims to be some news reporter, who threaten him and accused him of being a criminal and ambushing her and leaving her death threat notes. He barely even knows the lunatic of a woman who smells like stale cigarettes.*

"The name was Janette Skein, said she would put me on her paper about being some unmasked thief. Threaten me if I ever crossed her path. She attempted to even show me the death threat but none even existed! Her hand was empty, she claimed she lost it!" *Sel would make a coo-coo motion beside his head with a finger* "Talk about a nutter.". "Damn woman cant even get her facts right!"

A handful of Zhentarim agents are seen placing fliers throughout Baldur's Gate, particularly in areas the working class and poor are known to reside. They bear the official symbol of Darkhold, each one hand-painted and signed personally by the Dreadlord.

To the citizens of Baldur’s Gate,

As the price of grain is at a high, the Zhentarim will be distributing either a single day’s supply or a tenday’s -- whatever your family may need. This grain is free and will be available for pickup today in the Northern Farmlands, with no questions asked. The event will continue until our supplies of grain are depleted.

Herald Durthi Barrowstone will be overseeing this effort in my stead. For anyone looking to attend, simply spot the dwarf at a wagon full of grain, accompanied by his armored bodyguard.

Signed,

Lord Victoria Thornhart
(( Event will be at roughly 2 PM PST ))

*A messenger is sent from the Palace to the Grand Knight about the shipment of grain that was to arrive from the Zhentarim, asking him to oversee some of the distribution of it. Shortly after arriving, the Grand Knight began to educate people on the error of dumping such a large supply of free grain in to the market. The harm to the farmer and the city itself. The Knight began to explain how a simple market and economy worked, as well as warned the people of the Zhentarim's alliance with the very Vampires that were slaughtering the people. The Knight spoke with some passion about the farmers being harmed, and how the Zhentarim would force a dependency on them in the coming year.

Some of the various people standing about were belligerent to the Grand Knight, and pushed back. Some insulting him and his intentions. After some time attempting to show the people the harm being done, the Knights left the area. Later some of the citizens of the city came up to Aaron to thank him for his educating them on the situation and the issues of the free grain. About a total of a fourth of the people lining up to get the free grain ended up leaving without taking any.*

For seven full days, the Zhentarim has distributed grain in the Northern Farmlands, under the protection of not their own soldiers -- but of the Flaming Fist. Day after day, the operation has been overseen by Herald Durthi Barrowstone, freely offering a tenday supply of grain to any citizen of the Gate that stopped by.

This work continued until the supplies of grain were finally depleted. The Zhentarim pack their goods, clean up any lingering mess, then escort the two caravans back to Darkhold.

The Radiant Heart Keep is a buzz with activity. Equipment, food, bedding and other supplies are being taken out of the armory for travel. Members from several organizations of the City also begin to gather at the Keep. Entry Registration papers for Cormyr have also been prepared.

A few pamphlets and scrolls are seen at several stores and gathering places in Baldur's Gate: "Giant egos and petty politics are far more dangerous to this city than free grain." The papers read, which have been spread to most gathering places.

While shopping in the city, the store owner points out the scroll left there to the Grand Knight, knowing his part in the grain delivery. The Knight chats with the shopkeeper, going over his being impressed that so many of the people of the city heard the words said and decided not to take the grain, and that he would have been against a large dumping of grain in to the economy regardless of which faction was doing the dumping. After the chat and once more explaining how a local economy works, the Knight steps away and exits the shop to allow the shop owner to do business with his other customers who also stood listening to conversation.
