Judging on the timing of the attacks, I believe the person is originating from the East coast. Here on West coast time the server is always down when I wake up, but usually up in the evening. Leads me to believe it's in the eastern time zone.

Server is always up after around 1-2am... seems even Mr. Ddos has to sleep. Have had some awesome impromptu events around those times the last few days. The vampire mansion was insane lol.

Its my understanding something else is being worked on. I am sure our Admin will let us know when it is live.

Take the server and forums down for a few days. Don't try bringing them back up at all during that time. 4-5 days like that, might convince him that he's won and he'll stop.

The obvious flaw in this plan: 4-5 days without BG sounds like basically the worst thing ever.

I used to make jokes back in the day about creating the Countermeasure Virus. Basically chaff/flares for servers and computers: If someone tries to attack the system, it tracks the IP and sends a virus BACK that would shut down the attacker's system.

Wonder if it might be time to revisit that...

I believe they already have a new plan going into effect by the end of the weekend.
