Long time member of the server, trying to get back into the realm and into the server. Have one character on another profile that has been around since the beta... Anyway, main character is a dwarf by the name of Mal'achi Fire-Stone. Got a couple other alt that I'm working on as well. Anyway since i haven't been on the forums much and I haven't really been in game a whole lot in a long time thought I'd re-introduce myself to the current active members. Back when Bhaal was still being revived in Sharpteeth. At least I think that was what was happening at the time.

It's been fun, even the past 3 / 4 sessions I've logged in. Even with all the NPC's going hostile to me (also happening roughly 3 - 4 hours of being logged in... Oh well, guess the humans are very racist around the Sword Coast)

PS: I recognise some of you scrubs from other servers. And by other servers I mean I've played on every server on NWN2 that's English. If I could speak French and Italian I'd have tried those ones too.

I've played a few other places and I'm impressed BG has been around for so long so I figured I'd give this a try. I like that I'm building a character up from level 1 and I'm fine RPing as a level 1 PC. Glad to RP with anyone though I'm stuck in BG itself until I gain a few levels apparently heh. My character is a Tiefling named Coin and he's interested in becoming a merchant / arcane crafter of some kind.

Huge fan of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2/Icewind Dale and looking for quest mods and what not for the EE editions I stumbled upon this PW. I have been really enjoying it since I started about 2 weeks ago, and getting caught up on all the lore and game mechanics. Used to the 2nd Edition rules from the above games. R.A. Salvatore originally introduced me to Faerun with the Drizzt Saga and the Cleric Quintet. In game I will most likely be playing one of 2 dwarven brothers, Durrin and Banak from Sundabar in the Silver Marches, out to see the Sword Coast and adventure. Only real rp experience was a year playing everquest back in the day and am shaking off the cobwebs. Hoping to maybe eventually take part in some RP events down the road.

I played NWN PWs years ago now, but for quite a long time. Started on Thain, where there were no haks, no CEP, and no need to know anything. Eventually I moved on to The Way Inn, which offered a more mature, hardcore setting (for reference - this server is a bit tamer!)

Now, years later, with a two and four year old at home, I started getting antsy with no creative outlet/interaction aside family and seeing my friends sometimes (who mostly also have young kids, so you know how that goes). I realized I had bought NWN2 a long time ago when it was heavily on sale, during a period when my main online RP friends were looking for new servers where they didn't have to worry about DMing, but we never actually took the plunge and picked a server. So now I'm looking forward to just frankly playing a less-than-perfect character build with a laid back personality who just wants to adventure, explore, and offer up some decent RP whenever I can. And also getting used to the NWN2 engine!

I just stumbled over your server and hopefully can give it a try tomorrow.

I'm new to NWN2 (although I played NWN1 aaaageeees ago, and I jsut spent a very short time on another NWN2 server...) not so new to DnD though.
I spent the last weeks looking for RP on different games (mostly MMOs) and guess what... I'm frustrated

Seems to me that most so called RP Guilds / Alliances / whatever use "RP" as an excuse to (germbag) around and / or the RP is so shallow that most of the time you find yourself hacking and slaying foes with neither RP motivation nor any RP going on.... And then there are "powergamers" who try to get the maximum out of their character by multiclassing and whatsoever with no RP background either... GAH!

Sorry! I had to vent all the frustration somewhere!

That being said.. I'm not against action / combat in RP or even against ERP!
I just dont want it at the center and some little RP around it.
Whatever happens, happens. Don't force things because of your RL ego or whatever, thats my motto!


Apart from my IG persona: I live in Austria, am (forever) 25 years old. I'm looking for an immersive lore friendly PW with lots of nice people and (hero) characters hehe

Hi folks, off-and-on player who hasn't used the forums for much before.

I come from text-based MUD's a long time ago as my introduction to online gaming. I play just about anything now, but lately have had the RP itch and so here I am. I also spent a lot of time in NWN1 many years ago as a PW DM.

I'm always up for pretty much whatever, so if you want to RP, or you want to kill things, or you need a gullible patsy for your ongoing plot or something, give me a poke!

I tend to stick to playing one character at a time until I feel satisfied they're done with their story arc, so you'll rarely find me on alts.
