Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Also experiencing time out issues today, like Kai above.

Was able to log in about 4 hours ago, but now, even after a few restarts and such, and being able to reach other NWN2 Servers, I'm timing out with BGTSCC. Placed here for a record, and hoping it clears up.

A server reset fixed it yesterday for some people.

These "Connection Error...Server is not responding (timed out)" are still occurring, though randomly at all times of the day and night. Even though I'm getting a decent Ping:

What Steve and Mr.M3ntalist are experiencing I have daily. The fix? There are two that I have found work. One is to completely reset your Modem and the other is to disconnect from the connection via your computer connections and then reset the computer with it disconnected this usually fixes the issue of timing out.

Happening to me too. No idea why. Server pings fine, tracert resolves fine, but 5121 seems to be ignoring my connection attempt.

@ Calodan: Incidentally resetting your modem or your PC with said modem unplugged is probably triggering a signal to your ISP to assign you a new IP address.

Not sure though what is wrong at the moment.

People with dynamic IP's are in luck, as all they have to do is reset their modem and they get a new IP automatically. Those with static IP's will have to suffer through until this is resolved :\


As an emergency measure: Anyone with a static IP who gets locked out, connect your smartphone (if you have 3g or 4g connection on it) to your PC and share the connection, you should be able to connect to the server and play until your "real" internet connection gets to connect to the server again.

I keep getting "server is not responding". I have tried rebooting my modem but that doesn't seem to help. Haven't been able to play in several days. Anything else that can be done?
