Reader Laitae picks up the letter and frowns as she reads it. She quickly writes a reply and sends it with an acolyte to the Friendly Arm Inn. She then moves into Guide Teo's office and puts the letter on his desk with a note attached to it explaining she has replied and will handle it.

A Templar with a golden cloak can be seen wandering into Candlekeep. A letter boasting the seal of the Song of the Morning is placed within the box in the library. It is addressed to "Reader Laitae".

A blue-robed priestess of Mystra entered the Library-Fortress of Candlekeep alongside Ivan in the early hours of the morning. Her single and sole intention was to consult with the Keeper of the Tomes and fellow diviner, Ulraunt, and the First Reader and fellow Mystran cleric, Tethtoril, about the sufficiency of Candlekeep's wards to repel the invaders should they be foolish enough to assault the Library directly, and should that be the case discuss ways in which she might assist reinforcing or empowering their protective magic with her own arcane talents and divine connection to the Lady of Mysteries.

Satisfied that Candlekeep's magical wards remain intact and unharmed, the Mystran priestess remains in the Library Fortress for an extra day to visit a few friends before beginning her journey back to Baldur's Gate to resume her regular temple duties.

*A small party arrives at the gates of Candlekeep*

An elf maiden flanked by three elven rangers were seen approaching Candlekeep. If any should ask or see information, all they were learn is that the maiden was visiting Candlekeep to see Reader Laitae. No, she did not have an appointment, and yes she was expected.

Her mannerisms and demeanor would betray she is a bit irritated should she be required to wait length of time beyond that which would take so summon the Reader. The rangers say nothing, but remain by the maiden's side.

Laitae, expecting the woman, would drop anything she was doing to go meet with her. Laitae would greet the woman and the three rangers with the traditional elven greeting. Speaking in elven, her accent clearly being from Evermeet:

"Welcome to Candlekeep, priestess and rangers. Time is very limited, but if you are weary and hungry from travel, I can offer food and drink here before we leave. We should also not talk too publically..."

Laitae would await the elven woman's decision.

The priestess responding in Elven smiles slightly.

"Your hospitality is most welcome, but from the rumors I have heard of the vision, we perhaps should skip the social pleasantries and gather what forces we need."

One of the Rangers nods in acent, the look on his face makes it plain that he is not happy to be on this mission, nervousness can be seen there as well.

Laitae nods to the priestess. "Let me contact key people by Sending to meet us there and I can teleport us there, if such is acceptable?"

A lone moon elf walks the steep path towards the gate of the fabled Keep. As he approaches the guards, they eye him curiously and guarded, but allows him to enter the keep itself.

Upon entering, he makes his way through the various vendors and potion shops, inquiring into any diviners or lorekeepers that offer services for a sum of gold.

Taran Seven, cleaning his weapon and armor behind the general merchants wagon, overhears the Moon Elf's inquiry and steps forward. "Hello good sir. My battle-brother Lucas, scholar of Candlekeep, may be interested. If you give me your name I will pass the information to him the next time that we meet."

Isabella is out at the time of the visit but her name would come up as an Avowed that often interacts in such regard. ((Feel free to PM to set up a meeting if interested!))

Medune has been seen wondering around Candlekeep when asked what his business is, he states he is looking for "Coffeo he thinks, no wait Tao, no he means Teo"

The halfling seems more agitated and erratic than usual.
I play Medune I think? maybe? probably? I'm not really certain.
