Dimitry's Final Flare cannot be used with Archmage shaping. All the new spells like icelance ball lightning and so on, can't be used with archmage shaping or elemental mastery.
I saw this was in 2018 so I wanted to confirm the bug is still present, at least for Dimitry's Final Flare and Whirpool. Wall of Fire also seems to be impacted by the bug even if it's not a custom spell.

Would be nice for ArchMage to be able too...elemental mastery on runes...Is that possible....?

Familiars should be able to cast personal range spells, but some do not currently work. The ones I know of are Shield and Deez's Repulsive Shadow Barrier.
Edit: Also Mirror Image, Lesser Spell Mantle, Shadow Shield

Extend Bull's Strength spell does not work. It keeps saying "Spell failure. Do not equip items when spellcasting."
I am not even switching items when spellcasting.

Im currently having an issue using improved mage armor and having the spell give me the return text of while using spells don't equip/disequip anything. Which u dont do while casting. Help!

Checked in on this and there was something decided some time back that Area of Effect spells are effected used by Mastery of Shaping. Feel free to petition on the forums for a change!

Edit: it still happens when i solo cast the spell sometimes is there a work around?

Based on the code, I'm not sure how it could fire as a solo spell.

Having trouble transition from bg farmland across bridge area, and get sent back to garms at half point of bridge. Even had it work normally and i thought i transotioned to the area after the bridge headin to FAI -just to be ported back to farms. Please look into this.

Hi,
It would seem that, for some reason, the entire line of "hold" spells ignores saving throw bonuses to mind affecting spells (this was tested with Hold person, Hold monster and Mass hold person).

Was it because of a technical problem or something else? It might not be worth finding a workaround if it's because of a bug, if it's not I might poke at the forum because it would just seem to go against the purpose of the feat.

I added archmage shaping to Dimitry's Final Flare awhile ago, so that one should work at least.

Reignite Invocation is not set up to consider a large majority of the Cleric/Druid spell list.
That said while implosion is exempt spells like Lions Roar, Akadi's Airball, and Word of faith have issues.
Another issue is Akadi's Airball not summoning the automatically maxed 3 Air elementals with Faith Akadi and Domain AIr
