House Blackrose would formally like to invite all to attend their annual "Commerce Gala" to celebrate prosperity and trade.

The event is set to take place on the 29th of Kythorn in Soubar. ((Sunday 28th June))

Activities will include:

-A free open market for trader's local and foreign to showcase their ware's: Those that are selling/Auctioning please come a bit early to set up your stalls so you are ready for when the event kicks off. The market will be active all day long as the events unfold.

-A fishing competition with a winner's purse and a trophy: To those taking part there will be a Five bag of gold entry fee, please bring your own rod though bait will be provided and do come early so that we can start on time.
((2pm EST/6pm GMT))

-Sonnet and music performed by known and unknown artist's: This will be held outdoor near the campfire in Soubar. Please bring your umbrella's or cloaks in case the weather turn. Those performing please gather a bit earlier so that you know what order you will be performing in.

-A Martial combat tournament with a winner's purse and a trophy. : Those that enter the event will be required to pay a Twenty bag entry fee. Please show up early to the fighting pit in Soubar so you know when and who you will be fighting.
Rules of the fight-Each fighter is allowed three wards before the fight begins if their natural abilities allow. Once the fight start there will be no use of potion or other mean of healing. No magical spells cast or wands. Only innate abilities or feats of strength.((Hide in plain sight is limited to three times per fight)) If fighter uses the musical arts it is limited to one song per fight. One loses if they are unable to fight or leave the fighting pit.

Security of event: This is a joyous event when we celebrate Commerce and thus troublesome behaviour will not be tolerated. Those that cause disruptions or scenes will be detained and be brought before Mag.

Soubar is abuzz with activity following the announcement of the House Blackrose Commerce Gala, with the locals running about to prepare for the expected influx of outsiders next week. The many merchants who occupy the center of town could be seen tidying up their tents, fastening colorful streamers and making additional changes to spruce up their tents and the town itself, while security preparations could also be seen being underway.

A man in heavy plate could be seen placing up flier and gathering supplies all in preparation for the Gala that is scheduled to take off in four days time.

There was an increase in activity with the blackrose forces placed in soubar. Either tightening patrols or assisting in getting things set up for the upcoming gala when she has free time. Chersk sending orders and commands. She continues the training of the recruits and standing posts of more veterans.

Spirits were high and heads were pounding the morning after the full day of festivities in Soubar, following the House Blackrose Commerce Gala. Townsfolk, who had spent the entire day indulging in drunken revelry, woke up sporting brutal hangovers and only vague recollections of all that had transpired - other than it was fun! Various critters were seen darting about the walled town, picking at all the food that had been thrown, dropped, or spilled over the course of the day, and more than a few townspeople were trying to remember how one of the tents got burned down. Despite the few disruptions and other bumps along the way (including a handful of broken bones as a result of one alcohol-induced stupid decision or another), by all accounts the gala was a huge success, and as word spreads people would begin to see a sizable uptick in visitors coming into the town to trade.

"Who would have thought that a fully funded Soubarian event could be so successful" A line that was used many a time after the Gala was over.

House Blackrose Commerce Gala had come and gone but one had never seen Soubar so full of merchants and people to browse their wares.


An event such as this doesn't come without discord so to prevent such measures, Soldiers in clad black armorer were posted around the town to keep unity
and disruptions that would occur.


The fishing competition came and went with a man named Balthus Dire taking the coin purse and the golden trophy.

The Music and sonnets were crowded as ever and many from different walks of life took turns to perform some even say a drowess took to the stage.


The last and final event of the day was the Martial combat as a host of Ebon Blade Mercenaries began to assemble around the area to make sure order was kept. Many watched on as fighters took to the pit and in between bouts their wounds were treated by a member of the Black abbey. Much blood and sweat would soak the ground that night until a winner would emerge. Ronja Leonhart would be named Champion of the Blackrose Commerce Gala Martial Competition, receiving a large coin purse and a golden trophy.


The Combined efforts of the Soubarian community would see a Successful event as many looking toward trade within Soubar with a favorable outlook as far as the future is concerned.

A less than familiar shape is seen in the ruins of a temple. A knee taken as a female figure does her nightly prayers at the alter, a course dry voice of whispers. Pushing against her knee standing again collecting her blade that was resting in front of her returning it to its sheath at her hip. Adjusting her black and silver armor before returning to 'cleaning' the rubble and stone lifting from the main space to the sides. Removing the rat nests and the rodents themself. She would spend some time doing this. Sweat forming on her brow as she pulled a water skin out and having a drink. those that would have permitted there wouldn't be bothered of their own duty. Those that weren't would draw her attention.

Keirgan is already down there spending most of his time doing the same and training. He lets your prey in silence and work in silence just as he does.

With recent events in the Troll Claws, those visiting Soubar would notice roughly twenty militia of House Blackrose with tents positioned inside the walls to further enhance security in the event of an attack.

Many would notice the Blackrose Soldiers stationed around Soubar would pack up their tents and and belongings and then move out as a relief of an equal number would march into Soubar to take there place. Rumors has it that the Lord Regent of House Blackrose has rotated them out on a leave of absence to visit there families and loved ones. The new soldiers look fresh and ready for action as then quickly settle in to their duties within the tent town.

Rumors of an upcoming election begin to circulate in and around Soubar.

Word is that the frontier town will have a Mayor soon, chosen by the people.

Shortly after the rumours begin, Vaelen Derringer announces his intent to run as a candidate in the first Soubar Mayoral election.

Short notices are posted about the village, written in several languages for the literate among the denizens.

"A vote for Vaelen is a vote for a free and prosperous Soubar"

A few henchmen stick around and inform passers-by and citizens alike that a platform will soon be announced by Mr. Derringer...

Soon several walls in Soubar get filled in with several parchments and scrolls that read the followin:
