Down again 16:50 GMT. Was up for approximately 20 minutes before lagging out and shutting down.

Is it anywhere near the horizon today the server will be functioning?

Which means...

- Corrupt character on the server. (Character maybe wearing an item not recognize by the server or a feat that is very glitchy)

- A script is spawning too much of something on the server or it is error in the script.

- A DM once told me that a player with a bad connection or computer can sometime cause the server to crash.

- A mutual poor player and server connection.

Have attempted to login a few of times today, only to be booted or disconnected at character creation menus. After reading the post above, I'm wondering if that cause corrupt characters on the server? Or have I just picked a bad couple of days to come back to PW gaming?

Seems to be bad luck. The server was rather stable the last few weeks and months.

Copy that. I'll keep trying on a periodic basis then.

All the servers i know are down... Anyone knows why?

Massive DDoS attack?

Unfortunately, we are being DDOS attacked. They're bringing it down with a flood of false traffic every time we put it up.

We'll get our protections back in place as soon as is practicable (probably not tonight though, for those of you waiting around in anticipation). They're really expensive, so we'd have rather not have been forced to do this again. But I guess some people just can't stand the idea of people having fun without them.
