I do not use the client extension.
Anyway I am trying right now to connect and it is not working.

can't connect as well, with the extension or without it, connection times out.

I cannot seem to connect, as of now. I am using the client extension and have tried without as well.

It's same as game.bgtscc.net:9898 (it's just domain alias name), and it does not working either

Ask Aspect of Sorrow to whitelist you. Send him your IP on the forums or in a private message on IRC or Discord. And... when he wakes up you should be golden.

First i think my provider gives me dynamic external IP (I am not sure but need to check), 2nd I really hope that wont be the procedure to get into the game for next days

Mine does give me a dynamic IP. And neither do I. But if it means I can play when I would have been unable to, I do think it's better than nothing.

Confirming back down again. Crashed at a bad time for our party.

Thanks, i sent him a message, but I have my router restarting at times, so I hope that will do some good at least for some period of time.
