Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Well, we have the hacking bugs, the roleplaying bugs, the grinding bugs, the DM bugs, the mechanic bugs and a few bugged NPCs.

Fortunately most are just intermittently acting out as bugs however (usually unintended as well), and even when being downright buggers the phenomena is known to cause marvellous situational roleplay at times.
Forum stories occasionally get a boost in times of bugs too.


The true player bugs of the server arguably would be the druids with the lolthite/selvetarmian priestessess coming second, rangers hipsing into third and of course arcane spellslingers steals the fourth place.
At least from the playing in a bug shape perspective.

There are of course other bugs as well but I have yet to have noticed a pixelized real life bug on the server. Fortuously?

It is even worse for me.

Last week my Toolset bugged out displaying this error message:

So far my problem solving attempts have been for naught. I even get the same message on a completely separate D-drive installation (old Win-XP HD).

Contemplating a complete re-install so I can continue to dabble in the Toolset for your, the players, collective benefit. Actually, buy DLC from GOG, since AFAIK the Atari disks no longer have an active place to DL the updates to V1.23). If anyone has a better idea, please PM me.

Trust me when I say this: We all appreciate yours, and the teams effort getting the server on the road and tirelessly fighting against a-holes who just want to spoil other peoples enjoyment.

Maaaaan and I gotta work tomorrow morning! I was hoping to play today!

I just got off the phone with our host. Good news and bad news. Good news is that the downtime is not actually related to the DDOS.

Bad news is that they may have to replace a part for us. Fingers crossed it's an easy fix and we're back on track this evening.

EDIT: FYI, the tech said it would be 1-2 hours for him to run the tests, and, if it is an easy fix, probably another 1-2 hours to fix it. Just to give you all something of an ETA to work with, although it could turn out to take longer if it's a bigger problem than they suspect.

Thanks for the update, Maecius! I'm sure a lot of us were worried about it being the cause of an attack, in a way, it's almost a relief to hear it wasn't!
