A woman was seen falling or jumping off the cliff near Ulgoth's into the water below. A few adventurers nearby went to the shore, two of them diving in to try and find and save this woman.

However, nothing seems to have come of it. The group was seen leaving the shore empty handed, no extra, rescued woman. There really didn't seem to be very much of anything at all, actually.

The High Lady of the Halls is seen infrequently on the shoreline fishing, humming a lovely tune to herself as she does so, looking rather content and happy.

A familiar green haired druid, along with his brunette mate, have been seen along the shore fishing in recent days. When asked about why they would be fishing with the aboleth in the waters, the response would be that they are checking the fish for any taint of the aboleth, and assessing the danger of eating fish from these waters.

*On a night in Ulgoth's Beard, a hooded genasi druid can be seen by the pond, holding a woman wearing a flower crown and speaking gently with her in Sylvan. The woman grows weaker, but she smiles happily. Eventually, the ill woman has passed, and the man takes her away. He can be heard in the distance playing music as a final farewell before going up to the cliffs to be consumed by grief alone.*

=The Meditating Mute=

The Tormtar Knight can be seen walking by coastline to reach Ulgoth's Beard, though he only stops at the settlement to buy some essential supplies.

He carries on to the top of the cliffs looking upon the sea, he makes camp there and spends hours meditating and contemplating the horizon as the sun rises and falls before his eyes.

Around him only the sound of the waves clashing against the rocks, the cry of the seagulls and the whispers of the wind.

A storm comes! As spring drifts into summer the coast anticipates fierce weather to celebrate the change. Those in-tune with that cycle anticipate a tremendous occasion in a building tempest. What's more, the youngest Circle of nature's sentinels in the territories around Baldur's Gate have announced a big bash in observance of this storm!

Whether by word of mouth or truly poorly-written exultations, word spreads that wild and foolhardy festivities will come about - whenever the anticipated storm strikes.

(( The Anachaine community is hosting an event on Saturday the 19th! A social event to introduce ourselves to the coast and enjoy roleplay at large. Bring a character, enjoy the thunder, meet the up-and-coming forestal organization!
This celebration will be at Ulgoth's Beard, Along the Chointhar north of Baldur's Gate. Follow the following link to discover your time zone's particular "when": https://everytimezone.com/?t=60cd3380,474 ))

Upon hearing of the upcoming said bash near or in the town of his residence from patrons at the Anchor, Derik listens closely.

Not one to dissuade parties really, this one seems to concern him and he quietly looks into it a bit.

With rumors in Ulgoth's Beard of several recent, violent deaths in the small town of maybe 50, the town's population is dropped by a significant number.

Rumors from anything to a massive dragon, to raiders, to necromancers, to a PAIR of dragons, and portals coming and going, or any such wild speculations likely circulate (unless a DM says otherwise)

What remains very clear though is in the aftermath, Derik Ranloss spends many hours collecting, tending to, and burying the bodies of the slain villagers in the town graveyard. If asked why, he replies, "Because they were my people, and they were my friends, and I didn't protect them."

A tall, thin man of indeterminate origin has taken up residence in the local inn after arriving in the company of an elderly sage. He spends his days combing the beaches at a leisurely pace or lost in conversation with local fishermen; he delights in lending the less successful anglers a sympathetic ear, and expresses a heartfelt desire to help them change their fortunes for the better.

Shortly after the arrival of the elderly gentleman, a barge laden with several crates of astronomical equipment and arcane volumes is seen offloading its cargo onshore. The crates are delivered to the top floor of the bearded mermaid and the deckhands in charge of the delivery are tipped handsomely for their service. Merkav, as the eccentric diviner comes to be known as, opens his makeshift study to locals wishing to buy minor auguries, natal charts for their newborns, or to simply make his acquaintance during the hours of the day but secludes himself at twilight, when the celestial bodies are most visible.

As day turns to night, the Heartwarder appears in Ulgoth's Beard, under pouring rain, she stands uptop the shoreline, guarded by wards unseen and yet mind protected. A fire burns behind Emerald eyes even as crimson hair mats her face, in stark contrast to the soft gentle light given by her armor. Fists tightened in seething rage.

"It's time to save these people"

Years had passed.
Ships arrived and ships departed.
The Captain herself had left the shore,
And the ownership and nature of
the DragonWing had shifted with it's title.
But as sailors almost always do,
the Captain eventually returned to her homeport,
ready to commission the DragonWing II and resume life along the traderoute.
Quickly assembling the best crew one could find in the Gate she ventured forth to
seek out a Shipwright with the knowledge and talent to craft their new vessel.

A small party was had at the Anchor this morning, thrown by the proprietor Derik Ranloss. In attendance were Ronja and Talio Ruidhri Koel, the mages Sirion and Niyressa, and the druid Teris. The orc-blood warrior Vrok arrived by chance a bit late.

Mostly it was a breakfast tea for companionship and chatting it appeared. Others were also invited but were unable to come due to their various duties conflicting with the time.

The party was interrupted by a young man in armor making his way in after banging on the door... missing an arm! This issue was fixed by a timely Regeneration spell from Teris.

Apparently the man had been part of a party ambushed by some death cultists of one or another and while Ronja snuck out to investigate the town, the young man had a heated private discussion with Derik, which was mostly quiet till it wasn't. Derik seemed to recognize something the man named Delvyn said and the group was soon suited up.

From here it's not clear what took place, some warding and invisibility spells, Ronja was fetched from the town square, and there was some sort of fight not too far out of town limits. In this fight the man named Delvyn was killed, sadly, despite his bravery.

Niyressa and Sirion departed to attend Court, Vrok went her own way for the time being, and Ronja, Talio, and Teris attended to the bodies of the attackers while Derik returned to the Anchor to start some sort of preparations.

Talk is about a ten-day ago, a half elf and human sailor where walking around Ulgoths speaking about plans of a ship, and other assorted plans to be for said cargo vessel and it's crew.
