I can start this right away, and i need to check on this,but at my level the spell will only last about 15 minutes. I would not be able to cover one guard for more than an hour.

A small cat with the insigna of Candlekeep hanging from it's collar arrives at the Order of the Silver Rose keep, meanwhile Seth Siger receives a sending from Hoihe Dacino:

The sending:

"Greetings friend. I have news on Scarwood.. You decide if they are good or bad. I have sent my cat to deliver the letter to... " The sending fades before Hoihe can finish the sentence but one would assume he meant you or something along those lines.

The letter:

The hallows heart is not a place of eternity. As contradicting as the previous sentence sounds, for we are dealing with demons, eternal fiends and vur lyrik youwei((And other things, trying to make Hoihe's version of Et cetera with it) it holds truth.

The demon overlord is capable of changing and reshaping his plane however he likes so finding a correct position on Scarwood is close to impossibility. But there are good news, Scarwood.. It is mentioned as a haven for those who try to hide fro Fruz the Deceiver. So thinking along those lines the chances of your loved ones being alive and "safe" are greatily increased and maybe if we can get to scarwood quickly the rescue mission won't be a suicide mission either. That is all I could find within the library of Candlekeep, the rest is up to us. I suggest praying to your god, the Swift Tracker directly about aiding us in finding this Scarwood.

*Seth finds Hoihe's cat near the entrance of the Silver Roses' keep. See's the paper attached to it's collar. Seth tries to coax the cat to come to him , but the Cat just looks at him, then looks away leisurely. Seth then thinks, "maybe a piece of jerky will entice him". So Seth pulls out a small piece of jerky and offers it . The cat smells a moment then turns away. Seth alomst thinks the cat is havin fun with him. "Oh!" Seth exclaims as a big grin comes across his face, and pulls out a string from his bag. "No cat can resist this", he thinks. And as he dangles the string the cat approaches, and Seth gently picks him up and removes the note.

After reading Hoihe's note, Seth returns to his room and writes a response.*

Thank you so much for all your hard work and research into this matter. It does my heart good to know a man can have such friends as you. I have read all your notes, reports and comminications to me. And if your research stands true, we have hope. I have been praying to my god, every possible moment I can.

* Seth encloses his letter in an envelope and seals it with the Seal of the Order of the Silver Rose, then has a messenger deliver it to Candlekeep.*

In the night, a lone messenger travels to Doron Amar, the Order of the Silver Rose and the northern Helzak Dwarves. The message reads.....

"To all those it may concern,

The elves of Dharasha Everae have begun preparations for the movement and defense of our people and their lands. It has been requested that we join in alliance, to work in a great endeavor to stop the rising tide of Orc and Drow. We tell you now that we will stand with all those who would ally themselselves against this great threat.

The Moon's crescent shall soon grace the sky and with it we of Dharasha are to hold exercises to train our minds and bodies to meet these Orcs in combat. We would ask all of those able bodied of your ranks to join us in this endeavor. We must organize and learn to fight in unison, or we and those we defend shall pay dearly for our reticence.

We will await your word within our Gullykin camp."

Planning event for 6-7pm EST, Aug 25th

This is not an arena style fight club event
This is meant to build team work and camaraderie

There will be a single guild competition event.
The rest, teams shall be divided up equally from amongst the ranks of participants.

There will be three training drills, each run twice to assure learning from mistakes.

1.) Capture the Flag
2.) King of the Hill (hold the fort)
3.) Guard the Lord/People (evacuation Drill)

Rules and Protocols will be established and posted in the coming days.

All those whom wish to participate may post within this thread, but you must come from as a rank and file of at least one of these groups. That means don't post Steve, we don't want to hear it, tough (#2)!

Everyone, including DM's, I look forward to your feedback via PM's and I am excited about the possibilities here

It should be a fun IC RP learning expierence that can really give us a both a reason and want to fight by each other's side! I guess we will see......//

* Knight General Seth Siger is given the note left with the guards by the messenger. As he reads the note, he scratches his head, and wonders why it is left unsigned. " I will pass this along to the commander, " he says to noone in particular. " But I will advise her to consider it with extreme caution."

*Uriel finally finishes his task of writing a discourse on patience and compassion and makes three copies. He hands one to Lady Elvina, one to Sir Seth and leaves the third on the Bulletin Board for Sir Haeman.*

Knight Warrant Gina Waynn has been keeping a journal lately of the events happening lately and documenting her own training and mentoring of the new squire, Angelica Celeste.

She wrote the following:

"I have been tasked with mentoring the new squire Angelica Celeste. She is both quick and agile as a monk, fighting barehanded or wearing only gloves. She has been a pleasure to mentor and I now consider her a friend also. I still cannot get over how fast and agile she is in combat and movement in general! She is a strong fighter and I find myself not even being able get any hits in on enemies sometimes because of her speed. She also has to wait on me sometimes as we travel as my armor and shield slow me speed down but Selune has been blessing me and grants me the strength and power to succeed in combat against any foes in my own way but I will never be able to match Celeste's speed and agility. Nevertheless, we do make a good team and I probably couldn't ask for a better partner to mentor and train with."

*After doing his patrols, doing some searching and stopping by the Illmater temple to ensure everything is still alright there Haeman checks the posting board in the Keep. He reads every letter carefully, and then posts his own*

If I am out on patrols or off laying the undead to their final rest please by all means leave posts on my desk in my room. I have an open door policy so please feel free to leave things there. Though, try to keep it orderly in a stack not like Sir Seth's room. *he makes a little smiley face*.

I have not uncovered anything of value to most of the issues I see posted here besides what I've already told Lady Elvina in my briefs to her when I am in the region. I shall continue to search as i can. My next stop is the rumors of yet another Balor to the north. It might be worth trying to question it and perhaps help find out information from one of the Abyss. Information regardless if it can be trusted or not is atleast worth the task but Demons tend to like to brag and perhaps that weakness may gain us some incite. I will let you know what if anything I find out.

El teleports to the keep, walking in posting a quick note on the board. Giving a nod and friendly smile to each of the guards, he quickly leaves, disappearing within another teleportation disappearing act.

Ladies, Sirs and all whom I call friends,

While I may not have been within these walls for a few days, I am still around. I have spent much time observing the comings and goings of those heading within the manor. With both their visible heraldry, as well as brief mannerisms, in mind, I have noticed several armored people bearing the symbol of Talona heading within the walls. While I have heard of any disturbances from any (nor would I think I would....) having a idea of the devout of such deities would be good to keep in mind. I will continue to keep my eyes open.

I have spent much time building my understanding and skill with steel and spell, but always remain your friend. If you require me, do not hesitate to send, or perhaps a Sending, and I shall be there.

PATROL REPORT

Today I had the pleasure of patroling the trade way offering the orders free supplies and help for those in need. Sir Uriel gave me this task. I spent 2000 gold of healing supplies and they are being put to good use. I met a monk who accepted our help and I offered him escort or any help he needed. He said to me he was on a task to gather some ores from the Cloackwood, but that he feared to go alone into the mines. I offered to escort him and he accepted. With the blessings of the Silver Rose and Ilmaters guidance we cleared the mines and he collected the ores he needed. He was very thankful to me, but I told him to thank the order as I am just a servant. Other travelers were given free bandages and potions of healing and blessing, and they were all very thankful to the Silver Rose. It has been a pleasure for me to carry out this task.

Cyrus reads the patrol log and smiles to himself, remembering his tasks as he went through his squiring.

Cyrus looks over the log again, and looks forward to the day he will be ready to train his own squire.

Well done Squire Angelica. Through completion of your task you demonstrated well your understanding and importance of Industry within the Code of Conduct. A Knight is productive at all times and works hard until the work is complete. Your hard work and diligence to your task demonstrate your ability to operate in this manner. Again, well done.

Upon finding a second note by the Orders sign near the road, Cyrus instructs the guards to detain anyone seen placing a thrid note about the Nemesis of the Gods there for questioning. They are tresspassing on the Orders land as they are not there requesting help, they are there to stir up trouble.

Squire Angelica reports back to the keep after a travel in the north.

I was travelling alone into the fields of the dead and further into the troll hill to aquire some troll hides for the tanner in Candlekeep. Yes he pays well and I thought it would be a nice oppertunity to train my combat skill. On my way back I entered the crypt at the edges og the hills and inside I fought necromancers and their undead summons. I saw some sort of portal I guess the necromancers use to summon evil into this land, but I could not do anything to it. It seems to be indestructible, at least for me alone. In the vault of the crypt I recoverd two very nice weapons. I will like to donate these weapons to the order as I belive they can come to really good use, by someone within the order. I can not handle such weapons, you all know I use my fists to fight best. I wish to give these weapons to the keeps armory.
