Across the City of Baldur's Gate and its surroundings, word is spread that a new Khazak was appointed to the local Thayan Enclave.

The Name "Khazark Kahanak Habdilof" is heard and shared plenty of times with shock and surprise by the many people knowing the man as a sailor merchant.

In the poor quarters of the city, a few live chicken were given to the less fortunate, gracefully offered by the order of the Khazark of the Enclave.

The Enclave will now welcome people with their offers and orders or business offers. (Contact JCVD1 on the forums or the Red Wizard group)

The hin known as Kith Kannon can be seen outside the Shelf of Many Books (and the Baldur's Gate Herald). He paces anxiously, speaking to any passerby as he awaits word from Endelyon.

"That's what they all say! Never heard a thief admit to his crimes, even whilst in the act, isn't it so!" was heard by some people walking the road south of the Baldors Gate bridge. They would might possibly even recognized the young lady as Terri Lalani. She was being harassed by some Flaming Fist guards. Claims of her being a theft was the talk. The items that was being discussed as the possible stolen merchandise was some closed barrels and crates, the contents not visible. After the Fist Mercenary patted down Terri, a bit too eagerly perhaps, coin exchanged hands and Terri headed off south to calls of "She's still here! Should we charge her for insubordinatiion?" She is seen running off quickly after that.

The BG Sewers seem a rather darker place than usual.

A large group of regional leaders and prominent social figures from as far away as Doron Amar, Nashkel, and Candlekeep were seen to gather at the Merchant's League building in Baldur's Gate on the second day of the month of Uktar.

Rumor has it that the Council of Four has formed a committee for the collaborative improvement of the city and its allies. But are two, three, four, or more heads truly better than one?

Opinion seems to vary from "it's about time people started doing something for the whole of the realm, instead of holing up in their little castles" to "I bet they were all just drinking good wine and scheming up ways to take even more of our money!"

Rumor has it that a torrential rain hit Baldur's Gate on the 10th of Uktar. None caught in it were said to be pleased...nor completely dry from some days to come. Humor made about Fist soldiers possibly drowning in their suits of armor by a man arriving at the East Gate, encumbered in soaked clothing, also did not go over well.

Good thing there is no crime made in poorly made jokes....

During the day posters are nailed to various posts and noticeboards along the Sword Coast.

Rumor has it a recently new arrival from Waterdeep helped the merchant league and a captain of a merchant ship come to a better mutual understanding in business dealings. The captain seems to be able to work with the Merchant League better than before and the Merchant League seems to be able to understand the captain's operations better. Hopefully these two continue work together better.

The awesomely muscled and charismatic dark man had been strolling through the city of Baldur's Gate for what felt like an eon now, perhaps long enough for a blood-mark to form on the left kidney.His palpable gaze resting on the Shelf of Many Books as if the depth of it saw through the very walls. Before long, he would know the people' critique of his work.

Before long, he would know if the flavor of almond, apple-spiced coffee encompassing his tastebuds was a second coming of Sharess, or merely a preemptive strike by Bartender Joy to have him hooked on the reasonably-priced concoction.

Writing in the point-provoking, factual language that would bring about the inevitable protests of paladins and clergymen alike, he lifted a gauntleted digit towards the architectural clouds and privately thanked Bane for the coming, enterprising success.

He thought upon the rival newspaper and what Elly had said, his final, introspective thoughts before entering the library. . .
