Groo vs. Conan. Any thoughts?

Which Conan? Howard's version? Groo beats him then, humour beats stereotype and mysoginistic view of point (although I understand Howard lived in other times - still its almost always halfnaked woman saved by barbaric but somehow decent Conan).

Although if it is Schwarzenegger, then just the soundtrack of that first movie is almost enough to beat the humour by itself :).

Assuming you worship Mask, how much about the shadow weave do you actually know about or do you even know it exists?

A pretty basic question: How do I put out a campfire? I've tried right clicking.. but there is no delete; I've tried bashing it; I've tried *stomp out fire*, *puts out fire* and many derivatives... no success :?

I read on line about a Groo vs. Conan idea - my thoughts were that I like both of them, but Groo is a little crazy. I think in my head it would be a tie unless followers go to help...

This is a great question. The whole concept of the shadow weave leaves me to believe that there is no intention that all of it is to be known; either by morals OR gods. Certainly the realm of "magic" shadow or not, intones a certain level of mystery (er, Mystra) AND with the shadow weave it is compounded because not much is known about it. With respect to Mask and followers using it, my interpretation would be that Mask uses it as a means to an end where Mystra is the embodiement of magic. There is lore around this - set way way in the future of where we are in terms of time line.

OK so you build it in PC tools, to get rid of it, open the Miscellanous bar , click remove, then click on the fire and it will go away... :)

The followers of Mask, to the best of my Knowledge have no access to the Shadow Weave. Shar is the creator of the Shadow Weave an the only conduit to it unless you want to go insane.
Forgotten Realms Wiki

The Shadow Weave is a force of magic similar to the Weave. The Shadow Weave originates from Shar rather than from Mystra. Shar studied the Weave long ago, and created a dark distorted version of it, and it is said to lie in between the strands of the Weave. Though the Shadow Weave has existed for quite some time (at least several millennia[1]), only in recent years has its use spread rapidly and become known.

A spellcaster who wants to manipulate the Shadow Weave must either worship Shar, permanently lose a piece of his or her mind,[2] or make some sort of arrangement with Shar and his or her existing patron deity.[3] A Shadow Adept is a spellcaster who specializes in using the Shadow Weave.[4]

Which tablet is best, iPad Air or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition)?

Here's what I found:

"The iPad Air has made the best tablet on the market even better. It looks great, is fast and light and, best of all, is still so simple to use.

Our only criticism of the iPad Air is the battery - it could last a little longer and, at £399 for the basic model, it’s quite pricey. The model we tested costs more than £730!

We would have loved to have seen a blinging gold version, and sadly the fingerprint recognition that’s included on the new iPhone 5S hasn’t made it to iPad...yet.

If you haven’t yet joined the tablet revolution you’ll find it hard to find anything better than this new offering from Apple, and if you have the finances, this is still our tablet of choice.

Somehow, even without a huge upgrade, Apple has created another "I want one" product. And with its new ‘Air’ branding, we’ve got a feeling a lot of older generation iPads will be heading for ebay."

vs.

"This year's version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is a tad more expensive than its predecessor, but is it worth the $550 for the baseline model? In terms of hardware, there's no doubt that Samsung has massaged all of the sore spots from the first Note 10.1: it's thinner and lighter; it offers a gorgeous display and top-notch sound; it packs better specs; and it sports a cleaner design. What's more, the S Pen features are actually useful. In many respects, Samsung's new tablet is competitively priced with other high-end devices in the same category.

Sadly, its inclusion of an eight-core Exynos chip oddly resulted in sometimes-sluggish performance -- something you don't expect to see on a premium device like this. Casual users may not notice or care that it's not up to par (although we believe that they'd be just as satisfied, if not more so, with the lower-priced Nexus 10). You can bet, though, that its overall performance will be a dealbreaker for power users and early adopters. If you crave the advanced stylus functionality, this is still the best option available for its size -- but that's not saying much, given the limited competition. We suppose it's going to have to do, though, until the 2015 edition rolls around."

Looks to me like the iPad is better. Thought?
