Not really a new player so to speak, i've been about since late June I believe. I have a rogue and a weapon master that I have been leveling. I've not been able to play much here of late due to RL things like raising the future of the server. I enjoy rp'ing quite a bit and though I am biased I have characters with very indepth and interesting back stories. I find some time constraints to be very limiting on my play time so I try not to delve too far into deep plot lines (though I would love too) as I might not be able to dedicate the time to keep storylines moving at a desirable pace.

I have two characters so far though the though of creating another is creeping up. The first is Luca Farronfold. He was once upon a time a henchman to a corrupt politician. He had a part with his crew of fellow henchmen to plant quite a bit of evidence against an opponent of his employer. It wasn't until the act had taken place before he and his fellows realized the horror of their ways and immediately disbanded. He has since taken to the shadows using a vast array of aliases and using a series of calls in hopes to find one of this brothers or sisters from his days before the shadow.

The other is Kentaro Hawkrune- a proud orphan of Shou and former slave of Thay. He had served his master well, learning the ways of trade as they traveled across the countryside. Kentaro spoke a few different languages and earned a spot within the dealings of merchants as a translator. He became very aggressive within his negotiations, though seemed to have a knack for knowing the true selling price of any commodity. His life as a slave was never a glamorous one, though the life of a slave never is. He continued to serve his master throughout his late teens until their ship was attacked while crossing the Sea of Fallen Stars. He floated amongst cargo and wreckage with nothing other than the rags on his back and a rusting katana in his hand. He floated ashore in Aglarond the next day. He spent time trying to offer up his services as a translator though there wasn't much he could offer. He did what he could for food, water, and shelter during his days since. It wasn't very long through the streets of small villages and cities alike that he would have to learn to defend himself with nothing other than his only possession. He is often seen with an iron mask over his face or a black cloth face mask. This started to hide the expressions of remorse and uncertainty, but the fear in his eyes disappeared years ago and nothing rests aside from a cold glare.

I'm always open to rp, even over the private forums and I'm always looking for travelling companions. I'm incredibly tell friendly and try to make sure that more than myself is having a good time while playing. Please don't be afraid to say hello even if just ooc. Favorite topics; food, music, nwn 1 and 2, character stories, pnp, rick and morty references, theorizing game of thrones, listening to people who know way more about GoT than I do, and jokes...If you got jokes I want to hear them.

Hello everyone, newbie here.

I found this forum because I have been craving roleplay in the Faerun setting for quite some time. These days it is hard to find but thankfully the internet lead me to your forum, which lead me to NWN 2, and now here I am.

I'm afraid I am a newb when it comes to the NWN 2 game. I do understand the basics of D&D though so hopefully I can get up to speed before too long.

Right now I am just leveling up a bit so if anyone needs a rogue to accompany them in their adventures, Kerri is more than happy to join them.

Hello. Sort-of-newbie, sort-of-been-here-before. The long and the short of it is, before Nwn2 lost its multiplayer functionality, I used to spend a large swath of my time on a multiplayer RP server. When they closed off multiplayer functionality it was a really sad day for me. I learned of the Client Extender a year or two ago, but I found no remnants of my old RP server (Despite hearing of this at the time). Anywho, decided to pop my head in and "return to my roots" so to speak. There's a LOT I need to re-learn about this game, and I definitely will need some helpful pointers/instruction, so I wouldn't mind the help of a mentor.

First and foremost, let me also mention that I still haven't fixed the multiplayer functionality. I've been allotting some of my time outside of work to looking through the web and trying to get everything up and running, but I'll be frank with everyone, its been difficult. even with the Client Extender, I find it still gives me a couple errors, so I'm currently working through those.

Secondmost, an important thing about me to remember is that I am the world's worst forum-tracker. I can almost assure you that fifteen minutes after I post this I'll be gone, and I probably won't remember to visit this forums for another week. Fortunately if you have discord its quite easy to get in touch with me simply add me on there, my discord ID being Kasus_Cloud#6731 (I'd ask that anyone who is interested in talking further or sending their welcomes not only post on the forums but try to reach me there.) That is the most feasible means of communication on my end with my busy schedule.

Now for a little bit about me, as I'm sure there are some who are wondering at what point in this long-winded, elaborate text wall that I would be describing myself. I'm a forward and sometimes over-idealistic man. Why am I sometimes over-idealistic? Probably something to do with the fact that I prefer to keep my online life and real life separate, despite understanding the futility of such actions. I am honest, honorable, and I follow the rules; but I'm far from perfect. Instead, I seek to consistently improve upon myself based on what I learn, striving ever to be superior to older versions of myself. When I'm not working at my IT firm, my first focus is to allot time to friends and family. When I'm not doing either of those things, I'm usually online somewhere. I enjoy camaraderie with my online compatriots, and I enjoy having my characters partaking or creating fantastic, elaborate plots/stories with other characters.


I've missed RP in Faerun and NWN2, and I think its time I came back into the scene. I hope to get everything working soon and be meeting each and every one of you in game shortly!

Old time Roleplayer and NWN enthusiast here. I came from a world known as Exaria many years ago, I been playing many different MMO's and incorporating different RP styles throughout that time, have run my own RP guilds on them as well. However, throughout that time I realized that it wasn't the same as finding a decent PW to play on - so I decided to delve into both NWN1 and NWN2 and see what servers are out there. So far, I keep coming back to this one -- characters are yet to be established / considered as a main focus but I am really liking this server and hope to RP with some people. I am very flexible with characters, as I have had MANY of them.

I am toying with the idea of a Drow cleric of Myrkul, A Dwarven Beserker, A dashing human rogue, and an aasimar monk (affiliations are not quite sure about just yet.)

I've been around the nwn1 scene for over 14 years,Hosted, Admin/DM a NWN1 Server UnIronically named Baldur's Gate too for a few years before getting burned out and retiring completely. Some what new to nwn2, 2015 , but I've logged here a bit before that. Some might know me from a few other servers in nwn2, looking forward to playing here a bit more.

This isn't my first time on BGTSCC - so I'm one of those 'Kind of Newish' folks I see on this thread. I've played Neverwinter Nights give or take since 2004, stumbling upon a Wheel of Time Server with no understanding of the lore or setting, to be encouraged to read all of the books and make characters that lasted years on those server(s). This game has been pretty much an addiction I've had from Middle to High School, into the Military and beyond. When I first came to BG, I was with a few friends trying out NWN2's multiplayer - from Naples, Italy, where I was stationed at the time. (So, I feel your pain Euros, especially when trying to play with players in the States!!!)

RPing in this fashion has helped me grow into a much better writer (I'm being lax on this post so don't hit me with it lol), a much better roleplayer, and has given me plenty of perspectives to enjoy various fictional worlds. I think I'm back here because, quite honestly, there is no other game, and honestly medium, that can fill the missing void of persistent world RP. Back in the day on here I played one of the original Wardens of Beregost (is that faction still around?) making the rank of Captain, and I played a Wizard Pacifist who sold wands and enjoyed her non-lethal combos against other arcanists (heh). Now you'll find me on one of two characters - Eremon Morant, my devout of Shaundakul currently undergoing an RCR, as he was a poor build to get my feet wet; and Maurmeril Jvianin, my Halruaan Wizardess. So far I've had some pretty cool experiences with both characters and great RP. I look forward to meeting folks both in game and on the forums/discord!
