So much for the honourable words of a merchant."
A human warrior glares at the dwarf.
"It was traded away during my travels, as it was evident from the ongoing auction that noone truly wanted it. Dwarves take matters of honour seriously..."

Bastard Sword: Silver, Keen, Vamp regen +1
Ring, +2 str, +2 con, +2 will
Short bow of Magic +4
Boots, +4 con
"I'm sorry, but these items do not add up to even a quarter of the value of the boots. I simply could not trade them away that cheaply"
Druehan wrote:I believe that is too much for the spear. However I do have some trade goods, although I do not think they are the same quality as yours but perhaps we could come to some arrangement. "Hrm...at best I could trade you the silver spear in return for the ring of the knight and a sum of gold that we can agree on. The other items are not that interesting to me, as they would be difficult to trade onwards I'm afraid, and the non-silver spear is too valuable for the sums we're speaking of here"

Looks like the last offer of mine was not fully heard. I offered plain 400 bags for it considering you didn't seem like what I offered before. And we forgot about gloves. You don't want to trade them?
\\now that becomes embarrassing. I understand you may have not much time working on the new shop, but why answer outdated offer and only half of fresh one?:)

A skittish, middle-aged man approaches the dwarf with his hands tucked behind his back.

"My employer, a man of means, has authorized me to offer a trade for these boots of yours, "

He points at the ((Boots +4, 7 sorc spellslot)) with an outstretched, emaciated finger.

"A fullplate forged from mithral and a pair of boots with the exact same protective enchantment. If you need to send word for me, I will be sojourning in the Elfsong."

After a long time Kajan sighs and unclasps his cloak for Goldhands to inspect.

"This is my prized possession: the Blessing of the Forest Queen ((+3 cha, +1 regen)), but I would offer it it with that other stuff I showed you for the vampiric spear."

"It can be both fortunate—and unfortunate—that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder..." says Smythe, as he makes good on his promised sum, in exchange for an exquisite sword, now held in two hands, wrapped in a finely sewn cloth of red with gold.

It had been days since Smythe last spoke with the dwarf Goldhands, in the Farmlands, far north from Friendly Arm Inn. There, Smythe had to remind the dwarf of his offer...and lucky he did, as the dwarf then made an equal promise, in a few days time, to be returned to the Friendly Arm, and willing to sell.

"And...it be a good thing, that coin always retains its...luster." Smythe gives the dwarf a wry grin, placing the sword into a should sack, and heading up into the bar proper, for something...celebratory.

OK, the lady smiled and took out a very unique heavy shield.
So I want to trade your fullplate with this plus some gold.

Isli Anlia, a priestess of Selûne would be walking by and stop to look at the Mithral Fullplate.

"Now that would be a very nice armour to have. Especially now that the decisive days against the undead army seem to close on us."

She would think it over and then offer her shield, the Shadow Defender, and a sum to the discretion of the merchant. She would start with an offer of 100 bags of coins.

/// Shadow defender (tower shield +2, displacement (9) once/day, dash, +4 hp, 10% of the weight [1.9 stones])

+ 100,000 gp
