"It was traded away during my travels, as it was evident from the ongoing auction that noone truly wanted it. Dwarves take matters of honour seriously..."

"Thank you kindly, Mr. Goldhands," she answers with appreciation and turns to look rather apologetically at her cousin-in-ancestry. She inwardly hopes that she does not need to drag too many more items out of the Temple's treasury to pay for the cloak.

"We'll have the deliverty arranged then"

For the armor, given you almost accepted a plain bid of 300 bags on it, I would offer the same 300 bags, +my fullplate+4 to spice it. Whatever said, it'd be fairly easy to sell.

"Sir, I've to repeat myself once more. I do not accept such trades. I won't accept trading a similar item but superior to an inferior one with gold in between, for all the reasons I mentioned the last time. You'll have to find something else to bid with."

I believe that is too much for the spear. However I do have some trade goods, although I do not think they are the same quality as yours but perhaps we could come to some arrangement. Here is a listing of what I currently possess. (Hands the dwarf a note). I am interested in both spears. What kind of agreement could we come to?

Looks like the last offer of mine was not fully heard. I offered plain 400 bags for it considering you didn't seem like what I offered before. And we forgot about gloves. You don't want to trade them?

"A fullplate forged from mithral and a pair of boots with the exact same protective enchantment. If you need to send word for me, I will be sojourning in the Elfsong."

"This is my prized possession: the Blessing of the Forest Queen ((+3 cha, +1 regen)), but I would offer it it with that other stuff I showed you for the vampiric spear."

It had been days since Smythe last spoke with the dwarf Goldhands, in the Farmlands, far north from Friendly Arm Inn. There, Smythe had to remind the dwarf of his offer...and lucky he did, as the dwarf then made an equal promise, in a few days time, to be returned to the Friendly Arm, and willing to sell.

"And...it be a good thing, that coin always retains its...luster." Smythe gives the dwarf a wry grin, placing the sword into a should sack, and heading up into the bar proper, for something...celebratory.
