Wanting a very specific PRC for every character type really isn't needed. Mix and match the existing classes, and handle the rest through RP. I would rather see new classes be more generic in nature, opening up for even more builds, and not forcing your character into too specific roles. *cough* drummer boy *cough*

You don't need a class to exemplify your character as an orc, his race is enough for that.

But the problem is that Frenzied Berserker is already pretty much as brutish as things come, so brutish that some of its class abilities rarely get used. (I am looking at the Frenzy and Inspire Frenzy.)

Another alternative could be some kind of PRC that gives Blood Magic rituals for an orcish caster. But we already got that in the form of Blood Magic for Spirit Shamans, and the Blood Magus PRC...
These are some pretty good points... Maybe we already have the very orcish archetypes represented in other classes... Valefort said it as well... Considering this maybe the drummer is the most orcish thing that offers something new one could come up with or the eye of grumsh isn't as bad...

Dunno I am too little accustomed to orcs to really see much else as typical orc than brutishness and the blood ritual stuff that you mention that is already present in other classes...

an awesome thing to consider would be a defiler patterned off the darksun campaign. it could boost divine and /or arcane effectiveness like a blood mage but causes damage to the world around it when it uses it.

it could draw hp's from all around (enemy and ally) to power the feat while dropping entangle and brambles and such on the ground for a long duration that effects enemies and allies alike including self. all to power up spells for a greater effectiveness.

that seems cool and unique

That does sound cool and reminds me of that Warcraft movie now don't go around desecrating me and my loved ones incase you dislike Warcraft but the drawing lifeforce from others was very nicely displayed and very horrid.
There the surrounding nature rather died then brambles growing. Maybe that would be something too would also grant some conflict between orcs and druids :D

back in my old EQ2 days i played a fun troll defiler. i wouldn't be the one killing them but watching all my debuffs tick away was awesome fun.

RP in EQ2 was well... yea.. but if it were better, i would have enjoyed the destructive and vile nature of the toon's rp.

i dream of it often while playing this game, but the mechanics are really not supportive. play your sheet noob 8-)

it would do more than create a conflict between them and druids, but pretty much everyone on the server would be opposed to such practices. not only that when they used the feats it would mark where they have been for long periods.

AWESOME IDEA VALE!! kudos to you. go for it!
