OOC Information:
The Performers Guild would like to extend an invitation for interested parties to join us at our public Open Stage
Night and perform or observe as desired. To that end, we encourage participants to come prepared, and find
gracious the limitation of one act per person. Our theme, as surmised, encourages participants to draw upon
an apricity theme for interpreted inspiration; experienced first hand, taught from homeland, or learned from a
venture and the drinks shared after, to offer example. We look forward to seeing you there!
The event will be held on Friday the 20th of December, starting at 21:30 GMT / 4.30PM EST.
Theme Assistance:
Apricity means “the warmth of the sun in winter" - brilliant sunshine that warms you despite being surrounded by ice and snow. Apricity isn’t only about the weather, however. It can define an unexpected change in attitude when your heart senses a feeling of hopefulness. Not entirely committed, but willing to accept that while all may not be well, there is wellness at this moment.
Orphic can have a mystic or oracular meaning, having an import that is not apparent to the senses or obvious to the intelligence.
OSS, Nightal 20: Recap

As the month of Nightal draws to it's end, the White Mask Theater ensures one of it's oldest traditions is kept alive
in the midst of abyssal and undead threats, or, perhaps, in spite of them. Double doors were thrown wide in welcome
and did draw the inspired public to craft and create that which artistically depict apricity, thematically titled. Organizer
and Hostess for the evening's Open Stage Show was the dark gossamer-clad tiefling, Oona Siofra.
Several artful acts and some curious activity ensured the evening was etched into memory.
♪ Anna dispensed a tale of a Neverwinter woman's journey to Waterdeep.
♪ Alexander offered personalized memoriam of love found, love lost, and love enduring.
♪ Maevyn recounted the tale two lovers and how they met, her parents.
♪ Isang shared a sonnet titled: On This Bright Morning Of Fresh Fallen Snow.
♪ Varon read a poem detailing an unfortunate encounter with a bird.
♪ Natalie artfully opined on the intrinsic link between kindness and sorrow, and
♪ Oona closed the show with a song that invoked a need to live in the moment.
By audience vote, the ranger Varon and his poem was awarded First Place
with a tie for second place between both Maevyn and Natalie, and Alexander following in third respectively.
Though the evening proved to be a grand success, it was not without it's own unusual turn of events.
Where one patron succumb to intoxication and needed be aided in their endeavors, another under guise sought to claim
the spotlight, wigged and down-dressed, wherein thin-veiled prose gave way to preaching and threats at the Furies behest.
Swift ejected, the audience were treated to Alexander's humor thereafter and merriment resumed all too quickly.
