"Obliteration"

Owlspur was quick to the word when asked of his personal suggestion for the Vanguard after update was given him, apology made. "What's due they who set themselves greater than gods and obstinate 'gainst the good wiled. Your standard still snaps in a gale, shame is too small a price."

"Give it time." My response.

"I shant neglect the irony of such a request."

Ranloss approached to discuss his and Antares being waylayed in the Forest of Wyrms by the black dragon Vulthair, whom permitted mercy on the couple given the itinerary which required personal conversation with Mag of Soubar. Nightgale was named a witness of the matter who may have more insight.

Discussion with Lylan'Synor Syr'Asiryn of the Bladestone Foundation at the upper office of the Warrior's Rest was conducted with Alexander Marshall, nicknamed 'two'. The subject of the discussion was clarity on the newly minted ban of the Vanguard on the grounds of the Halls of Inner Light, perspective and opinion held regarding the latest addition of the organization, Aunrae. Lylan appears to be charged in want of her own investigation on the matter and will follow up should she desire to.

A "miss Kaga" of Shou heritage was flanked by a smaller female hin of the name Frappi Cornflower, and a male wood tel'quess shifter of the "Roots Below" declared faith, opposite of Adrian. Conversation between Adrian and the male turned sour wherein the male bared fang, spoke of crushing skulls and hunting as his preference over duel suggested by his companions. Blunt shooed the four from him, though it appeared that the male sought hostility first toward Adrian, mocking stutter as a sign of weakness.

Yohogovolich of the Devil Wars sought the plant, Onyx Orchid from the Upperdark, the same plant that was involved in drug addiction among a few nobles of Baldur's Gate during the same duration of the War. The association is not known but a fey named Donol sung of the plant in a Fey court, the plant capable of both poison and healing. There is suspicion that this plant was involved in the poisoning of the former arch druidess Sarisay, bypassing druidic resilience to poisons, by Batibat upon their encounter. Derik and Adrian of Bladestone encountered another book approximate to Greenest within a ruin, in mention of the Onyx Orchid again as a coveted tool for an assassin vaguely named 'The Poisoner.' This individual is theorized to have been responsible for killing the aforementioned nobles that were abusing the plant as a drug, and may yet still be active in the Gate. The author of the new book is only known by the initials A.S.

Further investigation may be required on our part, please do not discuss it openly.

I'll may not send prayers lately, but I believe I will today.

I've issued final personal apology where it was due, and personal matters between Aunrae and I final. I found myself praising toxic animosity that has long brewed deep within me and cannot make amends with her past, cannot provide justice to a distance that I felt needed made, these are beyond my domain, all I can do is walk in a direction wherein direction is less evident and the Seldarine no longer can guide me. Perhaps I'll find peace with myself somewhere along the way. I apologize if this disappoints any.

I have officially sold my interest in the Warrior's Rest to Derik Ranloss and stepped down from any role in the Bladestone Foundation. We are, as individuals and a company, still welcome at the Warrior's Rest and there may be pending jobs with the Foundation. If you have your personal effects there, and wish to stay, feel free. Otherwise grab them up when you can and move back down to Nashkel with the lot of us.

Discussion with a green haired perpendicular oriented eared gnome of the name Popos had undergone resultant of whispered conversation about the atrocities of the Vanguard. In attempt to meeting 'Red' had made herself involved temporarily, comradery of some kind, in business, was gleaned by the conversation of the two, a business that had soured. Without knowledge of my identity, and with the departure of 'Red', the gnome went on to discuss 'blood magic', business of magical teleporting of goods, and the construction the Vanguard was undertaking. These, he claims, were part of the interference of his business.

In parting he was paid for his information as per agreed upon and my affiliation made known to him.

He then fled to Soubar.

Use of all magic is to be limited. Even the badges I've issued each of you are capable of what is not permanent blindness or deafness, as there are no priests capable of healing such any longer. Use magic only in emergencies. Stop casual use of sendings or teleportation. Also bless Mizzrym's heart, but her eyesight is still recovering.
