Word spreads of a tournament between magi to be hosted in the near future. Posters are hung up in settlements across the coast, and at any inquiries to the messengers one would be told that the Guild of Magi are looking to hire skilled healers for this event.

Rules of the Tournament

A small hin garbed in dark clothing walks the length of the Trade Way. Some might recognize Nihm "Mossy" Mosshill... some might not. In Badlur's Gate, the Friendly Arm Inn, Beregost and Nashkel she carefully ensures a seven-sheet list of her inventory is posted on well-watched bulletin boards or in locations that are out of any possible harsh weather and easily readable by potential customers.

Those that follow Hoar or are just looking for a guild we will meet at the jump point to Thundar's ride just North of the Radiant Heart Chapter house. For newer people this is the church looking building in the Eastern Farmlands area. The meeting will be at 2000 GMT on Sunday January 15th so that everyone has time to plan for it and try and be there.

Late in the afternoon several adventurers, a woman in black armor with a scimitar, a man in dark armor with copper trim and a sword and shield, a man in blue clothing, a woman in grey armor and a bow, and a woman in a black dress, returned from an excursion into the Cloudpeaks to Nashkel. As some of them were apparently experienced and skilled swordsmen and mages, the fact that they looked rather worse for wear could be a bit disconcerting to some of the citizenry.

The group traveled to the Temple of Helm, the man in copper trimmed armor also stopped by the garrison. The group spent some time in the Northern Lights inn, then disbanded their separate ways.

Something about giants, dragons, and spirits...

A patrol including members of the Everwatch, the Bladestone Foundation, the Order of the Silver Rose, and Doron Amar may have been rumored to be seen scaling in a patrol mode into the Cloud Peaks from Nashkel and attempting to summit Mount Speartop. It is said the attempt failed when faced by a surprisingly difficult dragon cultist threat in the peaks. The expedition turned back and headed back to Nashkel, perhaps to be remounted again soon...

Somewhere in the southern wilds, a little off the often traveled paths, there is a small garden. The site looks rather ordinary during the day. At night, however, the garden seems to come to life, shimmering as it bathes in the moonlight. Closer look reveals that some of the plants have been trampled here and there and shred of bloodied silver silken fabric as well as thicker blue can be found among the trampled plants. The soil is sticky with blood in places.

Shekels is seen leaving a missive with Governor 'De Oca's men after being thrown out of a festival.

A patrol lead by the Everwatch which non-members also attended took place a few days ago. The group cycled through some useful formations on the snowy land. They climbed to Mount of Speartop to investigate after concerning discoveries from a previous Everwatch patrol.

They did not enter the large cave, reputed to be home to a white dragon, and instead turned back.
