A tall man with white hair and lavender eyes steps off the most recently arrived ship from Waterdeep. His purple cloak billows in the sea breeze as he surveys the familiar surroundings. He nods to a few merchants as he makes his way east toward the temple of Torm, his full plate mail gleaming in the midday sun. Several members of the Fist he passes take note of of the greatsword sheathed on his back, but as the man smiles and greets each of them, they seem mollified by the holy symbol of Torm dangling from a chain on the paladin's wrist.
After the better part of an hour, the paladin makes his way from the Temple to Istari Tower, greeting the citizens he meets along the way. The tower looms over him as he approaches, and Jonas takes a moment to appreciate the splendor of the home he has been away from for so long.
"Tis good to be back," he states simply as he steps inside the home of the Weave Masters.

One merchant commented that the male looked like the former leader of the Keepers of the Elder Circle, but was unsure....saying his manners were not quite the same as he knew...

The crowds continue to grow at the doorstep to Baldur's Gate. Peasants not often prone to acrimony let the bitterness of lost ones closest to their hearts bellow forth from their horse throats. Petitioners start to line up, the word has come to their homes that if the ilmater shrine gives up their ward, the end of unnatural deaths will stop and life will resume.
Tearful mothers and heart wrenched fathers, souls asunder without cause. People with productive, though simple lives, leading them the best they know and as they should, now suddenly dead.
Fist patrols to the area take caution, now torn in duty for protecting the city, yet serving it's people.
Tom: "What are we going to do?"
George: "I don't know, but this is just isn't right"
Tom: "I say we give those bhaalist what they want"
George: "I say we give those bhaalist their come-uppins.
Tom: "You know we've been losing some fist trying to patrol those outskirts, soon there won't be any outskirts left to patrol"
George: "Then they died in duty."
Tom: "I can't right say they had a honorable death, right ignoble you ask me. Who's this tart that thinks they can play gods with us and invoke the wrath of bhaal"
George: "I hear it's the very saintly one. I can't see how a saint would let this go though; damn shame you ask me... the people's reputation of them is starting to change, even the dukes are taking notice."
Tom: "You don't think them doomsayers is right, about the.."end"."
George: "You feel and hit your head as child, only end you'll see is at the pointy side of a sword. Yet this can't keep going on, if it does revolt is in the air.."
Tom: "Aye, seems the ilmater's are being unreasonable, starting to wear thin the benefit of the doubt."
George: "With the iron coming scarce, it's lucky we joined back when and got quality swords. Better keep an eye on yours, some recruits are quick fingered."

It's said that many of the peasants who gather into mobs around Baldur Gate have had their homes broken into. Those stolen from report many of the items stolen seem to be taken at random, ranging from chairs, forks, candles, chunks of wall. The thefts coincide with a delayed paper shipment to Baldur Gate, stopping shortly after the shipment made it into Baldur Gate.

A young acolyte of Lathander is given credit for raising three from the dead...what appeared to be two half elven rangers, and a dwarf. Their bodies were found on the road south of Beregost. The acolyte said that he found them with a badly injured wolf standing over them... whimpering, seeming to beg the young priest to help them. He says they all had a harp carved on their chests... and the initials "A.G."
... later, some commoners from the Temple in Beregost say that two half elves enter and are overheard asking the Priest to remove a scar from each of them. Some hours after that... a dwarf is seen entering the temple.. and then leaving.

A masked figure approached the Gates of Nashkel in the dead of night, a bag in his hand. Standing at the edge of the gate torches, the figure shouts a greeting as he swings a bag in his hand non-chalantly.
The guards hailed the figure as he released the bag into the air to fall at thier feet simply stating...
"The forest grows tired of the falling of trees and the rape of the Land; too much is being taken to rebuild this pissant town...this is your warning and be sure to tell Lady Selah...that those who truly protect the Land are watching and so is Lord Seorsa'ssr... "
As he finished, the bag opened and the heads of three loggers roll out of the bag onto the road.
The figured dissappeared in a flash of darkness and was then gone.

Upon hearing the rumor, Seril adds a little spice to it by indicating the Mathora'Tel'Quissir is an offshoot Banite cult.

Several travelers have reported in Beregost and Baldur's Gate taverns that local druids seem to be attempting to replenish the trees of the forest that were destroyed in the rebuilding efforts of Nashkel. Within several days even a few villagers from Beregost and Nashkel joined in the effort.
Rumor has it that the druids were of the Elder Circle but their names are not known.
