Re: Underdark General Discussion Thread
So I just made my first underdark character. Sorc-fightery type. However I feel a little at a loss as to where to go or what to do. Not quite as clear as the overworld at first glace anyway. Hope some of you show up to rp while I'm around! I'm totally lost. I'm aware of less activity being done down here but hope there's at least some! Though if there's a shortage of a specific type of character, due to the pop down here, could make a specialized one. Hope to have fun down here.

Re: Underdark General Discussion Thread
Let me know via PM if you still need help. I am not on very much, but perhaps we could arrange a time to meet up.
Starting with the two duergar fetching (non-dangerous) city quests might be a sensible way to begin. As a first level mage it is going to be difficult to grind out advancement without scrolls, potions (and possibly a Backpack of the Hearty for the additional 5 HP).
As far as the quests, I have created a list of the currently available ones in and around Sshamath. As of now, none of them have any special requirement.

As a final note there is a map of the Underdark that is quite useful to getting a sense of how the UD areas are laid out. Unless you want to start in the city sewers - I wouldn't - you want to head up the spire to get access to Varalla's Passage, from which a number of low level areas open.

It's good now. I sent him to the tombs and he coped pretty well there. I showed him around, where all the quests are and where to go and not to, so he's all sorted now.

We need to point in the rules that the teleporting in and out of city is crime.
Also, I do not know if anyone knows that, but some areas of Sshamath are not warded from teleport.

Check out this thread peeps. Tell your friends and your enemies. Mayhaps they will die somewhere else than Sshamath

((CR 20? They offer a challenge for my drow faern. Currently level 21. ((CC 23)). Isn't the rule for a Monster CC level equal to a PC party of 4 of equivalent level.
