SerBlake Hightower, sregeant at arms and knight of hous Blackrose is seen bringing reinforcement to Soubar.

As things have been calmer on the Bugbear front, 50 soldiers- half of them Blackrose and half of them mercenaries- and 2 catapult are being brought to Soubar.


He orders the catapult and the emn to their position.


" I hope that willl be enough" he says to himself.

The Blackrose garrison in Soubar would continue there postings around the commerce areas as in the many months past

In the early hours of the morning a few hours before dawn, a man adorned in an ornate black war plate with golden trim emerges from the solitary fort upon the hill lugging with him barrels of practice equipment. A few of the more senior men on station offer looks of pitty to their juniors. At the break of dawn many sleepy figures leave the fortress in a single file where the man awaits them by the barrels Your all late... He says to the assembled Milita of Soubar I can see that in my recent absence that you have all grown lax. Well allow me to rectify that for the lot of you. For the next two ten-day you will wake before dawn you will drill for two marks then and only then will you be allowed to break for the morning meal. I will see to it that you are broken back into shape. Now get your kit and form up form up into sparing rings by squad. Now! His final word a bellowed command. Though with that he would gather his own suitable practice kit to join men he The heavily armored figure took part in a few practice bouts with the more capable among them, he went about offering advice on sword forms, he also offer encouragement to those whom would be struggling the most.

The training was hard and some times brutal though at the end of two marks all returned to the barracks either on their own legs or added by their brothers in arms. It would seem that Order has returned to the sleeping little Hamlet

An impromptu sermon is held within the Black Abbey, following which a patrol under Banite flags heads out to punish threats to Soubar.



Upon return, the group is seen dragging a gnoll within the Black Abbey once more, which gives up its life to Bane upon the altar. The carcass is left there for a time, its blood drying upon the stone.

An altercation took place earlier this evening over a rogue planar summon between a one-eyed ranger and two tieflings, that culminated in a fight outside of Soubar's walls where both demifiends where shot to death by the bowman. The body of the dark armored tiefling is later seen nailed to a cross near bridgefort where a large Zhentilar force is currently stationed, stripped bare and in a humiliating pose, with multiple arrows still sticking out of his naked torso.

Few minutes after winner has left, one of tieflings opened his eyes and used healing magic from his gloves to stabilize himself. He then slowly removed the body of other one from the cross and teleported away with with it not taking his time to undo the arrows. An empty cross and blood stains on the ground remain as the only evidence (together with witnesses memories) of that happening.

On the 16th of Kythorn Soubar was alive with festivities. Stalls stood cramped together with a wide array wares on display and their sellers behind it hawking their wares. For a while visitors and merchants haggled back and forth, until the rhythm of sonnets and songs sounded near the campfire.



Then not much later an invitation to join the Tournament at Fort Prominance began to circulate and many urged there together.



And though many dueled as best as they could, only one prevailed to have their name called by Amos Thistle in the end.

It is rumored during the recent Blackrose Commerce Gala a raffle was run for the residents of Soubar. The prize: A fully built and furnished house with all the extras that come with it. The winner of the Raffle has yet to be announced.

Over the next several days, Tarina begins spending her mornings clearing out bushes and weeds atop the rocky mound in Soubar, across the road from the Black Abbey. She uses her axe and a small hand shovel to hack away at the wood and dig up the roots. She dries out the most usable branches and leaves them with the town's stockpile of wood to be used for tinder, while burning the remainder outside of the walls.
