A few days after the Ballad of the Warchief-to-be first made the rounds, a peculiar new song made its way into the repertoires of the local bards, sponsored by a friendly young redhead said to have sported a mischievous smile as she left some of the performers. Although its artistic merits were questionable, this fast-paced ditty might perhaps find a following in local alehouses at the end of a busy day:
There once was an elf,
Who laughed but for himself.
His hair was red like blood,
His words were ever a flood.
Garbs black as night,
Heart just as bright,
A know-nothing know-it-all,
A stranger to one and all,
With a dark devil's call.
On a fateful summer eve,
He told a tale few could believe,
And was sent scurrying along!
But he craved to talk so long,
Make it known he's so smart.
Discord and confusion were his art,
Oh, how he loved to sow,
The seeds of a hearty row!
Brothers and sisters he'd turn,
To see their friends all burn,
Without a good rhyme,
How'd it be a good time!
There once was an elf,
Who laughed but for himself.
With not one true friend,
He'd like a friendship's end!
What could he know,
—All together, now!—
A know-nothing know-it-all,
A stranger to one and all,
With a dark devil's call!

As the city wide response to youth crime gathers pace it seems there is much talk and not enough action.
After the event reporting confirms the so called blagger gangs were active within an inn peddling crime opportunity unchecked.
Some belated patrol activity and advice promised no repeat.
Keep a sharp eye an old watchman suggested.

Mixed messages to law and order were put on show by thieves in the city as they began removing so called blagger gangs from street corners taking on for themselves the business of sourcing vulnerable property. Some say they have more success than the various groups that support the city with patrolling who have been noticeable by their absence. Not so agents of the common who located and began the business of deterring blagger activity. Less successful were one or two of their more vocal commoners who were set upon by muggers. Perhaps in retaliation but a thief was caught and given over to the city.
The Flaming Fist warned further violence by anyone will be met by overwhelming force.
The temple of Ilmater was stood ready to locate and help reformed blaggers who might be found wandering city streets and no longer committing crimes.

After helping with the harvest, in Greenest and the Outer City, with others of the Temple of Chauntea, Rivka as part of her work with the Commons comes bearing donations to distribute within Heapside, Eastway, and the Steeps - furs for cold weather (along with instruction on how to care for them to keep them lasting), preserved foods like pickled veggies, jarred fruits, cheeses, pickled eggs, bags of milled flour, barely, oats and rye, along with simple medicines - some given to the Church of Ilmater, others that require less medical know how, to be given for first aid. It is likely all these things disappear quickly, as she can only do and carry so much as one person, but each gift is given with the Three's blessings (Chauntea, Mielikki, and Mystra), in preparation for the coming winter months.

Laethelas had accompanied the ethran on her errand, hauling a stack of crates with additional goods and provisions to be distributed. Among the supplies delivered was an array of mundane weapons - short swords, handaxes, shortbows and quivers full of arrows. After arming the militia, he led them to a makeshift training ground outside of the city, using the afternoon to instruct those who wished to provide ranged support to their fellow militia members should the need arise. He proved a patient instructor, giving extra attention to those who struggled most with the art of marksmanship, encouraging them to keep at it, and promising to work on light weapons training with those who insisted on abandoning the bow.

When she caught word of the training, Virin would go on to tutor some of the Militia's sneakier members, often using the elven hunter as a training dummy for people to sneak up on while he was instructing the archers. Although practical demonstrations would prove difficult in this environment, she would also try to highlight the value of precision, distraction, and mobility: Their last few enemies came from within the city, and being able to safely steer a skirmish away from the general population would undoubtedly come in handy against any remnants of the Ironclad Blades - or, one might suspect, if the mounting tensions between the Commons and the Thieves' Guild escalated to a full-blown conflict...

Bhor Stonecutter visited the White mask Theater after an invitation by Reorx Bonebreaker. Reorx wants to build a brewery in the cellar and they speak of a solution to how it could be done.
If the guild wants it, Bhor offers his expertise as an architect. He promises to give good words inside Kraak Helzak about the projekt if the guild decides to hire dwarven stonemasons. Further he will ask brewers to consider teach Reorx the art of brewing.
When Bhor gets back to Kraak Helzak tells about the project to the king and other key figures asking them to aid and listen if the guild of White mask Theatre takes contact.

*A large vessel with new gnomish made siege engines flying Baldurian flags was being loaded with supplies. Apparently the ship was soon to set sail before the coming winter would prevent it from its departure. No one but it's crew members knew where the ship was heading to. *

A hin with a painful stutter has been asking about sightings of a strange priest who feeds off grief. The hin is also seeking people whose grief has uncharacteristically caused them to lose control of their actions.

Earlier today, a skirmish broke out in the Eastern Farmlands between an armored knight bearing the heraldry of The Radiant Heart and a powerful mage associated with The City Watch. Witnesses report a brief but intense clash before the knight gathered the remains of the fallen and returned to The Chapterhouse. The reasons for the confrontation remain unclear, but not long after a page was sent running into the city.

Mounds, where broken wooden objects had been buried, appear before the Shrine to Silvanus; small offerings left in the wake of a new druid who roamed the region. The nomad had wandered in solitude within the woodlands for some time, but today, first connected with the wardens of nature who called this place home. The druidess had been shown to the Golden Sapling by the elves; shelter taken under the small boughs, prayers and blessings given when she took her leave.

The following parchments are posted on bulletin boards about Baldur's Gate and the Friendly Arm's Inn
It has become apparent that allegations have been levied against the Matron of House Divine by an entity who we shall not dignify to name. The entity falsely alleges the Matron conspired to have the entity assassinated during the recent Gauntlet of Champions. The entity also admits to having in their possession evidence incriminating the Matron, which the entity has presented to anyone willing to grant the person an audience. However the entity has yet to submit said evidence to the proper authorities thus suggesting the entity is only interested in promulgating false claims and slander rather having the matter properly investigated and adjudicated.
The Matron stands ready to happily submit herself to interrogation by Ducal authorities should the matter reach judicial review.

*Residence in the Manor District would see an increase presence of the City Watchman Norin Brows. Rumors would say, he's often patrolling in front of the Everwinter Estate. If he was ever approached and ask as to why he's increased his presence here, he would simply say...*
"It's official business in line with the safety of the city residence."

Some citizens of the Gate catch sight of an unfamiliar face, attention drawn by the fact that such a face is that of a water genasi, who makes way to the Water Queen's House. There's little way to know who she is or what she wants, but it seems she intends on an extended stay at the temple.
Simply a visitor? An Umberlant sympathizer? Someone in search of something? Or does it go further than that?

*A pleased smile after hearing such a rumor about the Water Queen's House. The Docks being home to the large organization known only as The Guild had issues out instructions.
It would be the very next night some members of The Guild would show presence around the Water Queen's Home. Was it a threatening gesture or was it to ensure the temples protection? No average person nor outsider would know. Either in plain sight, or hidden from the keenest eyes they were there. Whom ever the new unfamiliar face belonged too, someone or some many has plans to arrive asking...*
