The smaller human female and a larger earth elemental leave roaring shore with a cart in tow, on the way there the elemental carried it as the women lead it on. Pulling it up the rear hilled road into the field of the dead knowing it would use issues in defending both the lumber when it's gotten and the cart its self. Muttering something about the captain would have made quick work of this himself and would have made this more simple. Fighting her way through she noticed the distinct lack of usable trees either all to small or very dead. She continued to head north-west into the northern trade way.

Flat as still treeless but now more on guarded watch casting a few spells on her self to help with protection and eyesight for anything sneaky or troublesome. She waves the elemental through behind her wandering about for most of the day candle marks drag on before seeing a forest in the distance. Forest of wyrms, massive healthy trees as she leads the creature to the rim of it before going inside to have a look around. Likely not a healthy choice for the young wizard, black ozzies or something blocked her way heavily damaging the elemental and causing her to retreat back to the borderline. She would have to settle on the trees there instead.

Getting to work she got a few of the larger trees down and loaded up into the cart, and over the hastily repaired elemental. Two fair-sized logs loaded onto the cart and tied down, another two onto the back the elemental. Now having to get back as the earthen being was damage and now overloaded and the cart still needs to be pulled back or teleported... rubbing at her temple she shakes her head it's too heavy to move through space. She looked up and around before muttering a space, taking a disgusting shape of her own and attached herself to the cart and starts to heave it behind her motions the elemental to follow.

Slow progress was made back through the trade way, luckily she was left alone, coming into the fields of the dead she was more worried about. Her elemental quickly was reduced to grounded dust, costing her the two logs that now lay in the fields as she summoned a strange planer creature to help defend herself and the cart and she pulled through the area. Back into the safer shore. The massive fleshy bear seemly drawing too much attention she dismissed it asking to borrow a horse or two to get it down the hill, settling on two rather large sailors and paying them coin after the cart was left at the bottom near the seawolf's brow being worked on.

" See that high captain Karn's log isn't lost and put to good use " she simply said now beyond tired and well spent with the troubles of the weave and energy spent to get the request finished, she limps back to the goblet for some rest.

Mass amounts of necrotic energy seeps throughout RoaringShore as Chanting and wailing could be heard from the Caves down by the docks. The Mark of the Black Hand is all that remained Carved into the earth, along with several piles of bones.

The pair a little more worse for wear after leaving the tavern with their task, returned. More beaten tired and bloody then they left. Something happened out there, unexpected. Old allies, and new threat or curiosity depending who looks at it. The girls return, then head out again for another attempt not daring to come back empty handed. The tail was dealt with after being said it was there, and they both return with another two logs from the forest of wrym on the back of the earthern elemental. The young wizard stopping looking at the cave's direction and sighed deeply " something the captain will have me look into no doubt " before crashing at the tavern to rest and recover from her wounds and rest her mind.

Ariexedes investigates the marking and the bones, now keeping an eye on the detection of the necromancy energies leaking from the cave of the dragonwing crew. When able to anyone coming in or going out before reporting to the high captain. leaving a silent alarm at the cave entrance.

*The bones themselves are charred and cracked seemingly leftovers of what was used, The Mark of the black hand is stained in blood upon the wall, there is also magical residue of a portal being opened and claw marks in front of where the portal would have been. The air itself is almost sickening, the smell of death and decay rampant. Underneath the Mark of the Black hand written abyssal with blood "Banes will Be done"

The captain of the Hellstorm crew, a figure renowned for his vigorous carousing, rough-and-tumble attitude and general mistrust towards wizards has been notably absent from the Broken Goblet of late. Seldom found roaming Roaringshore's streets alone, he is never too far from his trusty crew or a bespectacled woman that is rumored to be a mercenary mage in his employ.

Furthermore, it is said that he is actively scouting out arcane talent and those gifted in the mystical arts to mount a series of attacks against his crew's erstwhile employers, the nation of Amn. Others speculate that he is using the spellcasters to entrench himself deeper in Roaringshore's ever shifting political landscape and gain more clout within the junta.

One thing is certain, however. Karn is becoming increasingly reclusive (some would say paranoid), but mages powerful or interesting enough to bend his ear are guaranteed to find gainful employment under the pirate lord.

During her regular walks along the dockfront, Wouveir would occasionally stop by Ariexedes. Onlookers would note them briefly conversing, looking towards the cave in question. Before Wouveir would walk off again. Obviously having picqued the Watersouls interest.

A tiny dark-clad figure arrives via boat, backpack in tow. After heading to the inn eating, the figure goes back to the dock as the sun sets. It is seen here every evening after just watching the world go by.

A rumor begins about a rather sizable fist-fight that took place just outside the gates of Roaringshore.

This is not uncommon, however, the Nature of the fight was most interesting.

It is said a large, Chultan-looking man with Horns was cooking by a campfire when he was accosted by a local pirate who mocked his horns.

The altercation that took place afterwards can only be described as "Chaotic."

The fight involved several broken beer bottles, a beer barrel being broken over a head, as well as afterwards the offending bandit quite literally being hurled via a Gust of Wind Spell into the ocean, magically lifted and carried off by the spell.

The scared man was removed from the water, who was shaking in fear claiming he'd been assaulted by "The Devil Himself."

In the early hours of the morning, a familiar Wavesoul could be seen lugging a large net of mid sized game fish up the cliff path and in through the service entrance of the Broken Goblet.
Moments later she'd walk out of the kitchen, into the taproom proper. She'd respond to offered greetings from bleary eyed fellow crew members, and others offering words of praise to the Bitch Queen, before walking out to stand next to Bareil at the shrine looking out over the bay as the sun rises.

A short sea worthy looking human male is seen leaving the captains quarters mumbling something about making Captain Karn rue the day and that he should have gone with his first instinct to join up with High Admiral Cyrano's fleet. He then goes back to the bar and asks where he can find a contact to join up with the High Admiral looking particularly distraught after his interaction with the High Captain Karn........

The young battle mage would spend most of her time at the tavern in the back booths, scroll, and tomes scattered about most of historical notes and that of the arcane. Mostly written in common, left alone she would be working or waving off the repeating visits of the waitress or simply enjoying a drink, light ruby red wine. Bushing the glass's upon her nose bridge a little higher. Peering over each time the door opened and closed going back to reading. Though, she would greet the sea wolf crewmen when addressed, loaning her full attention before they leave.

Weeks have passed since the Seawolf pulled into the bay and eventually the shipyard. Finding little to no help from Landry Kinane, yardmaster and former Captain of The Lone Wolf. The latter had been sunk by the formers quartermaster, Ang Smythe, on High Captains Karns orders, with all hands on board. There had been no quarter from either side it was rumoured and the fight had been gruesome, the deck covered in the blood and puddled deep, so thick were the corpses that it could not escape in some places.

Lumber was brought in from afar by a diminutive and bespectacled human and her creations of the Weave. Sailors, well paid and rested by his order toil at the milling. Slowly board by board the ship is repaired with no outside help. The quartermaster is there to be found more often than not and still sleeping and eating there though he does accompany men to the Broken Goblet for dice and cards and drinking each week, his own purse opening and buying rounds for them and other crews too at the Broken Goblet.

The work advances until at last only a large canvas covers the front of the bow. The Quartermaster sits in short pants and a big loose wool sweater of grey, dirt and bits of wood embedded, his hands working hard at oiling up his leathers. Hearing his title called he sets down his work and makes his way past the canvas, disappearing inside for almost an hour. On his reappearance he sends a sailor up the rope ladder to inform The High Captain that the work is done. The Seawolf is ready to sail again.

Three of the Hellstorm crew were said to be enjoying some quiet time in the Broken Goblet. Overhearing some of the chatter, it would appear they were high in spirits after a raid into Southern lands.
