*Lady Angelina hears the news and heads back to the Keep with haste from her patrols in the city and northern roads. She bursts into the infirmary when she gets there and rushes to his side weeping silently as she looks him over. She calls upon the power of Tyr and trys to lay her hands on him to heal him. She sits by his side day and night caring for him and wipeing his brow with a cool cloth. At times she can be seen sleeping with her head on his chest as she sits by his side.*

*While she tries to heal him, Haeman is having dark dreams and in the middle of them, surrounded by chaos and darkness. From out of no where within his dreams a warm light filled with love washes over him for just a few moments as at that time Angelina is Laying Hands upon him in an attempt to try and heal his wound. Angelina’s healing touch mends some of the wound, at least to a point here the wound will not reopen easily.*

Kierran Naver and Miss Amarven, priestess of Sehanine Moonbow came to Sir Seth and I with this information today:

The Black Network (suspected Zhentarim) - Ambrose, (wizard?) suspected leader or high ranking .. described in detail by Kierran Naver. (grey-black tunic, and brimmed hat with a feather, leather boots etc) Ambrose and the others are hunting those Kierran gave letters to describing Ambrose after they offered him a place in the group and he declined.

Keelia - human girl that was given one of the letters is being hunted by them.. we offered our protection of her. and the protection of all those being hunted if possible.

All of the OSR is to offer our influence of protection to these people being hunted or anyone else that fears for their life. *she orders*

*In the OSR Keep’s Infirmary, Angelina wipes Haeman”s forehead with a damp wash cloth. As she does so his arm falls from upon his chest and his hand opens revealing the crumpled paper within. She goes about reading it:
Rite of Augmentation:*

To combine the same spell of at least three or more into one powerful spell one must first draw this rune.



The letter then goes on to speak of ingredients that one must obtain.

1. The blood of those that may renue their life, regrow their arms and yet fear fire. It must be from magical means and of the highest kind. A chief or magician wreeking evil upon the land must be slain so that good may come and that with its last lifes blood recooperation maye be gained. Use this blood to paint the rune upon the ground and have those who are to combine their might stand inside.

2. The scales of balance must be held by two within the circle, each one held represented by the draconic colors of good and evil, Light and Darkness. But be warned, neither is of pure heart and both will kill for pleasure.

3. The bite of the undead that gives damnation to the living must be ground to dust, and sprinkled in the circle by the third person in the circle.

4. When the spell is cast from all as the magic begins to work, the most dangerous flame, flames that are forsaken, damned and forgotten but are a seed for chaos, must be used to set afire the troll blood making up the rune and clense it..

*Angelina then begins to once again lay her hands upon Haeman trying to heal him. Haeman opens his eyes slowly and smiles to her as she smiles back brightly…..*

Haeman wakes up in the infirmary alone and opens his eyes once again. Lady Angelina’ls multiple attempts at healing having healed the wound at his side but not helped his overall condition caused by the spell. He sits up and as stedy as he can heads off to the bulleton board and begins to catch up on things he may have missed. He frowns at the Zhent business, something the Harpers are more equipped to handle as the OSR is not about subterfuge or being sneaky at all. He smiles thinking of that then frowns as he reads about the vampire business. As much of his strength that is missing and still knowing he is in no shape to adventure, he vows to try to help however he can and he notes the names of the people involved. Being a Morninglord it would be against everything he believes in to not try. After reading all that is there he then decides to head outside.

It takes him a bit of effort and one of the Guards opens the door for him being polite and Haeman smiles to him and he heads out into the light. He steps outside and his vision is washed out by the bright light of the sun as he cranes his neck to feel its warmth on his face. When his eyes have cleared he sees Sir Seth standing guard and decided to find out what is going on. He smile and bows almost falling over as Seth sees him and then reaches out to stedy him so he does not fall. “Sir, you should not be out here” Seth says with concern in his voice.

Haeman smiles to him, Seth having always been a kind soul was a knight he has watched and had ensured to speak to Lady Elvina about promoting him ever chance there was. From Knight Errant, to Kinght Warrant and then to Knight General, Haeman always knew Seth had it within him to be a great Knight General. It was why he always asked Lady Elvina to promote him. “I wanted to see the sunlight and feel its warmth on my face.” Haeman says truthfully.

They speak for a good while about the guard being missing, and that Seth has taken up the watch. Haeman had joked that he could do it which caused a speculative look from Seth and they both laughed. In the end Haeman had to break the bad news to Seth. Unless something was done he would die. He could tell within him as each day passed that the next would not be guaranteed. But he would not give in to whoever had cast the spell upon him. That was not the OSR way. Someone wanted him out of the Order and out of the Region and he would not bend to such a thing. It was after this that Lady Elvina and Master Revenark showed up. Most of the talk at this point was of Haeman going back to lay down and Haeman being stubborn and wishing to walk around and aid those he would with his magic. Lady Elvina made a very good point about him possibly passing out from the exertion. He was stubborn though but he knew she was right. He did not wish to spend the rest of his time laying in a bed when he could at least aid those he could. It was then that a man in armor (John Steel) walked p carrying the body of a dwarf (omg so sorry I thought I had a screen shot with your name  I’ll try to find out and put it in this space). He asked for aid and before Haeman really thoughtabout what he was doing, he moved forward kneeling next to the dwarven body and began casting a resurrection spell. When the energy released into the dwarf bringing him back to the living, the world began to spin as darkness claimed Haeman.

Elvina, seeing Haeman pass out from bringing the dwarf back to life exclaims “By Gods!” She then looks to the Guard standing there and commands, “Guard get him to the infirmary at once!”.

Hoihe asks the knights outside the OSR for Lady Angelina regarding the letter. He tells them he spoke with Haeman outside the Friendly Arm's Inn's gates.

Hoihe reads through the ingreadients, nodding for each, then adding his own notes to each. He writes in a silvery ink.

- Indeed, there are "Spirit Trolls" up in the High Moors, they are the offspring of "Invisible Stalkers" and "Trolls". Invisible stalkers are like shadows for the purposes of fighting them. There are a lot of powerful necromancers and other mages amognst their rank. I think a Necromancer will do.

- It's a touchy question. It may refer to the opposites, such as Gold and Red, Copper and green and such things. It may also be objective, such as a black scale for darkness and white scale for light. I'd say, for safety's sake, we put a white dragon scale to one side, a dark bronze scale for the other. If we want the powers to match, then make it dark copper and light white. I have both. I have plenty of scales to experiment with, I owe Haeman this much.

- Simple, really. Hellfire is the answer. However, I don't think you'll like the source. We need a warlock who has pacted with the powers of Baator in order to gain this. I don't know any warlocks of this power.. However, Scribe Teo has experience with such warlocks. Seek him out

*After speaking with Hoihe, Haeman heads to where the firepit is, and the benches used to be.. He wonders in a bit of a daze about what happened. He sets a small sign down and sits. A sign saying healing, magical aid, and resurrection. He sits for a while and many a few come by to talk along with Lady Angelina. She is very concerned for his welfare and begs him to head back to the keep. With his delirium and stubbornness he informs her that he’d rather stay. She asks him once more to head back to the keep as she has to head to the mines on a patrol. Haeman nods then after she has left he heads out after her.

Amazingly he stumbles his way through the Cloakwood and into the mines but he is too tired to head deeper in and Lady Gina arrives. She too tries to convince him to go lay down. Hiw mind befuddled by his sickness he stubbornly heads deeper into the mines where they meet up with Lady Angelina. After some talk Haeman finally relents seeing the worry in Angelina and Gina’s eyes and he has them take him back..

The journey back is uneventful except that once in the Friendly Arms in area a lady rushes in from the forest and lays a body down on the ground. Again out of habit and kindness Haeman casts upon the poor lady resurrecting her. He sways a bit kneeling and has to have Lady Gina help him up. He introduces himself to those around and with some prodding from Gina he begins heading back to the Keep. Gina holding him steady as he walks, and Angelina holding his hand…*

Cyrus reads over the notes Hoihe added, and he frowns, the lines in his face showing more deeply.

He sits down and pens a note to the Commander and Knights General.

"Mi'Lady and Sirs,

After having read over the notes Master Dacino left I think it be in our best interest to gather our force together and make preparations for excusions into the Northern Moors and then the house in Northern Cloakwood. If these ingredients can truely save Sir Haeman, then we must collect them. We should probably see if we can enlist Master Dacino's aid in this endvor as well.

Although I do not like being disruptive, nor disobidient....beyond playful means....I will go alone to locate these items if I must. The conciquences of doing nothing or debating too long are too high.

Cyrus closes the messages and seals them with his mark, and sends them with trusted paiges to be delivered. He then returns to his studies. We begins to delve more into the rite itself, trying to decifer why it pulls so much from the dark and the light to accomplish it's goals, and wonders what side effects there might be from such a ritual.

Rumours speak of Hoihe, Mealir, Amarven, Merek and Rain talking of the High Moors and a cave there a few days ago next to the Friendly Arm's inn before the tall one teleported everyone somewhere.

I can't seem to find where I wrote it but I know i spoke in game to a few and let you know Nov 15th. Lisa tonighttold said the 15th and i was like.. ooh no i know i said one standard month a few posts up and that was posted oct 14th i beleive.. Anyways lol I did a month so everyone had time to rp, and that it wouldn't detract from the DM events and other rps people have going on. There was never any hurry on this, just ment for some rp and fun as i am not on often and when i am its a very limited time. Never know what tomarrow brings . But again as i've sent each of u pms of praise, thank you all who rp in game and out of game.. This is keeping my spirits up and from going stir crazy here in Afghanistan
