Herran is given a missive from Harold to be delivered to the High Radiance in Beregost.
With the help of Vala, Michael, Fenix and Damien, the missive was successfully delivered with only a short delay at the lions way bridge where three ogres were told to take "the bard".
Herran managed to convince them Damien was a bard by having him sing his best, which turned out to be ... horribly out of key. The ogres of course knew he was the bard ... after pumping them for as much information as he could ... the ogres tire and attack. After they were defeated, the group hasted on to Beregost ... prayerfully in time.
The High Radiance suggests to Herran that he talk with Eldarian before leaving. Herran therefore seeks him out.

A crinkled brow is offered to the Most Radiant upon the knight's entry into the temple.
His steps are quick and purposeful as he moves toward the priest at the altar and when he stands before Kelddath he offers a low and respectful bow.
"Your will is done," the words are whispered yet confident before he continues to speak in a louder tone for others to hear. "Are you hurt? Do you require me to sweep the town in order to look for any last vestiges of suspicion?"

A letter is delivered, addressed to Knight Commander Eldarian Al'maire. It bears a wax seal, emblazoned with the twin-headed coin of Hoar.

A sealed scroll arrives at the Song of the Morning Temple, addressed to Beregost's de-facto leader, His Most Radiant Keldath Ormlyr. It is sealed with the eight-pointed Star of Mystra pressed into blue wax.

Kellan Armstrong, the simple young clergyman of Lathander can be seen often in the Beregost and the surrounding areas. He can be seen tending to various tasks ranging from simple ministering to minor acts of healing, visiting the elderly that are shut ins and cannot make it to mass to driving off pests from the outlying farmsteads. He is mostly quiet in his speech, obviously no great orator but providing a simple and consistent message of faith, righteousness, grace and renewal of both body and spirit. Always he points to the glory of Lathander, resolute in his preaching with an easy smile beneath his orange beard.

*Kellan returns to the church following the famous Ilmateri priest Ameris Santraeger's sermon in the East Gate District. The young deacon spends some time relating the information that Ameris relayed and also speaks of another matter that occurred after. When he has finished recounting events the slender young man retires to the study in order to pen several rolls of parchment. Hours later he can be seen departing the church heading north, his satchel stuffed to overflowing with missives once more.*

*On one ordinary evening as part of a public lay sermon and mingling thereafter outside of the Song of the Morning in Beregost, the young deacon Kellan catches wind of various, worrisome tales whispered between residents of the outlying farmsteads. Worry lines crease foreheads as goodwives speak of second and third hand accounts regarding a ravaging band of ogres. The young deacon listens stoically and does his best to assuage the fears of the locals, promising that the church would respond swiftly. Following the gathering Kellan immediately returned to the church, informing the High Dawnpriest and then retiring to his chambers penning requests for aid to investigate and address this new threat.*

On the evening of 11 Ches a group of four individuals clad in traveling garb and without armor usher a fifth that is severly injured and unconscious toward the Song of the Morning. Carrying the wounded man is the new deacon of the church, Kellan Armstrong. He is following several of Candlekeep's finest including Adallan Ragnan, Morgalia and Hinzel. The quartet entered the church and Kellan consulted briefly with the High Dawnpriest Kelddath Omlyr before nodding to his instruction and taking the survivor below to the sick rooms. The deacon returned briefly to thank his companions before retiring to help tend the wounded man as needed. When the high dawnpriest finished his work, the monk would keep watch at the bedside as he transcribed notes from the most recent patrols.

The gentle glow from the Song of the Morning bathes the streets of Beregost at nightfall.
Two figures awash the cobbled lane nearby in quiet chatter and an exchange of a lone item. A woman who was darkly clothed and hooded could be seen handing over a feather, starkly white and slender, to a man in holy armor and a yellow cloak.
”Night” and “Dawn” could be heard respectively as they parted ways; one melting into the shadows of night and the other embracing the vivid light of the nearby temple.

The Elven mage Sirion stops by the Song of the Morning temple in Beregost with a missive to be delivered to Lord Eldarian Al'maire. Without much ado he continues onwards to see a man about some honeycake.

At the entrance, accompanying the sentry knights, stood a fairly tall man clad in a polished armor and a bright sun-colored cloak bearing symbols of Lathander as well as the Order of the Aster.
Saul Aurora, Guardian for the Morning Song temple, would smile at the elven mage and accept the missive.
"I will make sure it is delivered where Lord Eldarian can collect it, mister Sirion. It is also good to see you again. May this new day fill you with hope."
Upon the gray-hooded druidess' arrival at the temple, Saul would bow his head respectfully, his armor not even baring the nape of his neck. As he held the gate open for the lady, a pleasant smile illuminated his face.

It is but a few hours before the town of Beregost awakes to a new morning when one of the guards brings something within the Temple of the Morninglord; a package, wrapped neatly into white cloth, with a grey ribbon adorning it. Delicate, white feather of a dove is tucked under the ribbon, along with a note that is scribbled with neat and rather elegant handwriting:
The Dawn will always come. Hope is never lost.
Let all remember it in the darkest of times.
A small contribution to your cause.
For the Morninglord to sing in the city of Baldur’s Gate.
Inside the package, there is a yellow sapphire, clearly a gem of some value. If one were to ask for an appraisal, the gem would probably be worth at least seven and half thousand coins, were it sold. If the guard was asked about the package’s origins, they would probably simply tell they found it in a bush nearby, attracted by a sudden communion birds. When they went to see what was going on, they found the package, along with the remnants of seeds scattered about it.
