A lone priest recently made his way to Soubar. He wears voluminous robes of purple and earthly hues, his eyes seem fully dark, alien in their gaze. Gathering whoever he finds, no matter race or creed, he addresses them all with welcoming gestures and tone.
Come onto me, masses of society's fringe! Come all who are unwelcome elsewhere and listen of those, older than any God. Let me speak to you of the Great Sleeper, the Ancient One who waits, watches! He sends forth his priests for his is the Will older than Time, which rewards devotion with love!
The Ancient One, unlike any Gods speaks through me, words meant for you! You need not be of a certain walk of life, a certain race or standing, for all creatures have a place in this world and the next! He asks not for gifts of silver or gold, because the Great One values devotion over all, and devotion is rewarded under his Gaze.
All creatures of the many Planes exist and all are Fit to Wield Power. All creatures carry the Energy of Life, so come forth! Claim your birth right! You are all able to seize greatness, power, able to find meaning in your lives! Come forth and speak of your troubles, let the priests of the Great Predecessor of Creation tend to your needs and witness his power first-hand! Know the Enlightened few and wish for the Truth to open your inner Eye!

Zealous Words of a highly proficient Orator strike a chord in some hearts of the dishearten around and within Soubar, and he is keen to lead the new flock downwards, through caves and tunnels, under Divine Spell and shielded from harm to where the Ancient Lurks and Listens, for gifts of adoration must be presented and the faithful must loudly chant his adoring prayers, for it pleases the Great One, and it is only right...

Its no Secret that the Woman known as Morgan Blackrose has Made her home in Soubar now that she has joined the Ranks of the Ebon Blades
She can been seen every so often walking around Soubar, talking with Merchants and residents asking about their day and if any travelers have been giving them problems. After Making her rounds she would return to the Ebon Blades Fortress.

A rise of whispers and murmurs spreads throughout Soubar, rumors concerning the possibility of Zhentarim forces stationing themselves within Soubar. While there are many skeptics, some claim to have seen known Zhentarim agents speaking with The Ebon Blade of late, and others, especially drunkards, claim that the Dreadlord herself had a meeting with Mags not too long ago. They say it has to do with the Devils of Dragonspear, but those wary of Zhentarim intentions speculate on what this could mean for Soubar, or what presicely was agreed upon, if anything...

Kazimir can be seen leaving his healing tent for a while with a note as he often does. When returning, the priest stares at the empty space before buying back all his belongings from Harmony, the halfling merchant standing nearby. He mutters curses under his breath as he erects the tent again and places bloodied crates serving as examination (and operation) tables back within the tent.
(( Please send me a Tell in-game or let me know through PM if you want to mess around with the tent. Or you can contact DM Arrakeen if you want to do it more anonymously. This was pretty bizarre! Happy with conflict RP but there might be some things of note and NPCs may have reacted.
Edited to add: This was probably a new player but leaving this here for a general fyi.

This particular Dwarf is said to be recognized by the fair sized pouch he carries tied to his belt, that jingles with the distinct sound of Orc teeth.

The Lady known well around Soubar as Blackrose could been seen Speaking with a Hin.
They seemed to Haggle and talk for sometime then they both went there separate ways.
Locals would have overheard Blackrose talk about a large sum of gold to be paid to the Hin on delivery.

A Few Locals would be witness to an Assailant from the shadow attempting to kill a Woman wearing a skull mask.
After a Brief Fight that ensued the woman with her right hand clasped around her Assailants neck would throw his lifeless body to the ground.
She would then grab his leg and drag him off out of Soubar.

The arrival of a herd of dwarven ye bastards at the Winding Way Inn this past cycle seemed to have kicked off several odd omens. Bats were seen divebombing around Boaresky Bridge, and some reported the wolves of the Northern Tradeway fighting each other savagely to their collective deaths. Keen-nosed observers might even notice an off-putting, pungent odor wafting from the Hobgoblin's moor.

Kazimir Resnik seems to be staying in Soubar for longer periods, watching those who come and go from the front of his healing tent. He is content to leave people to their business but if anyone looks like they'd be willing exchange a word or two about news, he approaches them - and spreads word his healing services. Apparently he is now selling pre-arranged resurrections, just in case someone would die on an endeavour.

A stand erected in Soubar this cycle advertises a combat tournament in the near future with a prize purse of thirty bags sterling.
The Bloody Shiv Brawl is scheduled in four cycles ((ooc: Saturday, 1/19, 20:00 GMT)) with a meeting organized in Runner's Pass in Rockrun.
Assorted brochures and flyers advertise the event in Soubar and other areas along the coast

Thirty thousand in gold bags to the victor of a glorious and no doubt entertaining trial by combat taking place 4 cycles from this posting.
Entrance fee for combatants of one bag of gold, while viewership is free for attendees. Gambling and wagers permitted and encouraged on site.
Entrants and attendees should report to the Runners Pass in the Upperdark at the allotted time, entry fees in hand as credit will not be accepted.

Early this morning a small Group met in soubar by the fort of the Ebon blades, Blackrose Gave Clear directions of what was to be accomplished before setting out. Among the Ranks of the Blades and other individuals was a few Knights of the Everwatch Including Head Watch Knight Wai LI herself.
The Small Band departed Soubar heading north of the Troll Claws. Whispers have it that Ebondross Citadel Was where they were headed.

During the announcement, Kazimir would have been present at the Winding Way carefully observing others who were there as well. The announcement itself doesn't seem to have come as a surprise at all to him and he appearaed to be relaxed among the mixture of people gathered. A tankard of ale was in his hand and slowly finished after Mag's words. He didn't leave the tavern immediately, instead studying reactions of merchants and others locals.

A Thunderstorm loomed as a Gaseous presence entered into Soubar, as the figure gain physical form in front of the Ebon Blade fortress she fell to her knees bleeding profusely, The blood as it hit the ground is adsorbed by the earth.
She would reach out to the guard for assistance and would be taken inside the fort. The Dark aura that loomed over Soubar seemed to wash away with the Rain that poured down from the heavens

A large shipment of alexandrites and obsidian would be seen being delivers to the ebonblade fortress along with A few large heavy looking sacks that permiate the smell of rot and decaying flesh. The shipment would be accepted by Blackrose. She would then hand over a large sum of coin to a masked figure.
This would make this the tenth large shipment recieved of such items within the last couple months.
The dark aura once again had begun overshadow the blades fortress.
Whispers come from within the fort that a large contingent of undead now walk the halls of the blades and that there are enough resources within the fortress to raise an army . The whispers say that this is all in preperation for soubars defence against the devils.

Rumor spreads of a group of companions defending the hamlet of Corm Orp from a large raiding force of ogres and goblinoids. Agartha Ironmantle, Arathiel, Veldrane and a youth known by some as the Copper Fox faced down a force on this hills near the town allowing not a single enemy to reach the walls. The four entered the town to inform the leaders of the potential peril and to recuperate after their ordeal.
