Good to know I’m not a complete idiot!
Is it then that in the future it WILL stack to +9?

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
Another Paladin issue—not that they don't already have tons of issues, but...that's more an IC thing!:
Paladin Strikes—Blessed, Burning, Disrupting, etc.—that are Spells that can be used as Feats if memorized and placed on the Hotbar, are not working for the Crusader kit.
In the recent past, though a Crusader cannot cast spells, if they put these Strikes in the spellbook anyway, and then placed the Feat on the Hotbar, they would work. And this was understood as OKAY, not a bug or exploit.
Can someone see how it happened that these Spells-as-Feats no longer work? And when I say no longer work, if you are in melee, and you have a Foe selected, then click the Strike icon on the Hotbar, it used to apply the attack to the Foe. Now, it just attempts to work, pausing the melee attacks, but then nothing happens.
Cheers.

Seems like someone disagreed with it being okay. Code exists to prevent the use of paladin featspells on crusaders now.Steve wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 4:44 am Another Paladin issue—not that they don't already have tons of issues, but...that's more an IC thing!:

However, a few spells seem to have been overlooked, and the same decision has not been applied to ranger featspells and hunters. I'll bring the inconsistency to everyone's attention. (EDIT: Okay, no, the "paladin" stuff that was "overlooked" turned out to be ranger and cleric stuff. It's just a general inconsistency between crusaders and hunters, then.)

A ha! The super secret nerf bat swings and hits!!! You know, it was a little baby perk for those Crusaders, having a situational flame attack, some more dmg on Undead, a big boost to AB...all at times, with a significant cooldown. If that's too much of a perk, well...there is always the Divinate kit, which has no downsides!!!!

Greater Dispel Magic is exceeding its cap. Its maximum roll should be 40, meaning buffs cast by a PC with caster level 30 should be safe from it (11+30=41). However, often enough, Greater Dispel Magic is stripping CL30 buffs.

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
This is going for all dispels. And I'm not sure if it's dispels exceeding their cap, or spells missing CL here and there. When mobs attempt to dispel my summons, the message that pops up reports the summon's caster level as one lower than it should be.
On the other hand, when casting offensive spells with Maximize spell, they're doing their proper damage for the expected CL. So something is really weird here with buffs specifically (or dispels specifically).

Alarm appears to trigger when crossed by a creature with the Ethereal buff, though it may have to do with being both Invisible and Ethereal.
Per the wiki, Ethereal creatures should not trigger the ward.

Dancing Lights (from sorcerer) doesn't seem to work right. It seems to only apply to one creature at a time, and additionally when the creature moves out of a certain range it vanishes.
What we see depends mainly on what we look for

I don't know which spell is bugged but shapechanging into a Frost Giant does not prevent all cold dmg spells from dealing cold damage. Orb of Cold and Ice Storm still do cold damage to the frost giant form. Specifically those spells cast by the mephits in the Crystal Caves near Nashkel. All other cold dmg in that area seems to be properly immuned by the form.

That is an excellent point. I do not play casters and hadn't thought of that. I would guess you are correct though.Dragonslayer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:02 amDo they have Piercing Cold, maybe?Wyatt wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 7:44 am I don't know which spell is bugged but shapechanging into a Frost Giant does not prevent all cold dmg spells from dealing cold damage. Re: Spell bugs compilation list
I had some sort of concealment spell that I believe was from the warlock list that the server gave me transitioning from one server to another. This spell set all creatures near me hostile and my LG character ended up killing children in the farmlands. Just an FYI

sounds like maybe Retributive Invisibility? AFAIK it does radial damage when the invisibility is removed, but the concealment stays.dakalb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 11:42 am I had some sort of concealment spell that I believe was from the warlock list that the server gave me transitioning from one server to another.
