The quiet procession of the Ilmatari Sister grew heavier. The rumor says that, covered in runes and ashes, she speaks of penances and solace. The burdens she undertook grew. Desperate gatherings are guided away from suffering, through words of compassion, through remorse and introspection. The rumor says that, with every day that passes, the Sufferer found more crowds seeking memory erasure. It is said that she always offers help and healing to children, pregnant women, disabled and sick people who are present, for free and without charge or promise of worship. But to those who seek to appease their consciousness with erasure, she offers the helping hand of the Broken God: a path of redemption. Some say that the Revered Mother Juna asked her to undertake this charge, while others murmur that the Broken God revealed the path forward. Though she remains silent on the matter, endeavoring as she may. What is however certain is that she will not cease to try to help them, their victims and others who suffered from these sad events. Some say that the desperation that grew in the city seals another Suffering for the Ilmatari, a holy rite of penance and compassion.
No one is ever forced, and free will always considered, it is said she walks this path by their side, with them, but not in their stead. Carrying painted stones, the penitent Sister speaks words of harmony, of responsibility, of lasting solace found in accountability for those who wish to hear. And while her words are for those who seek erasure, she speaks of the numerous victims and suffering that a memory seal will condemn to oblivion once more. It cannot be, and it shall not be. In quiet endeavors, she guides those willing to the Shrine of the Suffering, where secluded prayers are murmured for salvation, where the Broken God offers true solace, true healing, to those who are honest in sharing their suffering, and facing it. It is said that those who accept this path, and to be helped, find more than just spiritual solace: the Ilmatari offer care for the body, care for the mind, and rehabilitation of their situation, so no suffering is left unheard. It is even said that the Church of the Triad, and the Temples of Sune and Mystra in the city are helping too.
The rumor says that Sister Ashenie vows a specific attention to the children, and vulnerable people, spotted in such gathering, and that they will always, always find a helping hand.
